Roman Reigns made a surprise return to WWE tonight during a Live Event in Nework, Del., just two nights before Sunday’s WWE Battleground Pay-Per-View.
Roman Reign’s reemergence happened just moments after Rollins’ showdown against Ambrose came to a close. The cunning Architect opted to attack The Lunatic Fringe after the bell. But as Rollins picked up the microphone to expound upon his plans to reclaim WWE’s most coveted prize this Sunday, Reigns’ music suddenly blared through the arena. After clearing the ring of his stunned adversary with a Superman Punch/Spear combination, Reigns picked up the WWE Title. Then, when Ambrose cautiously joined him in the ring, Reigns tossed the title to him and walked away without a word.
