WWE Released Cameron and Santino Marella from their contracts today. They announced the following:
WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstars Santino Marella, Cameron, Hornswoggle, Alex Riley, El Torito and Zeb Colter as of today, Friday, May 6, 2016. WWE wishes them the best in all of their future endeavors.
This comes one day after Cameron took to Twitter and accused the WWE Universe of cyber-bullying her. She’s been working WWE NXT and at the Performance Center since being taken off TV last year.
Santino hasn’t been a regular on WWE TV since suffering a neck injury a few years back. He’s made a few TV appearances here and there.
