NY Post Covers WWE Network’s Fight to Retain Paid Subscribers

The New York Post has published a new article examining WWE’s fight to retain paid Network subscribers following the #FreeWrestleMania promotion the company ran this month for WrestleMania 32.

The report notes that a closer look at the recently reported WWE Network subscriber count revealed domestic paid subscribers actually declined 1 percent, to 1.11 million. What took the domestic total to 1.39 million were 281,000 subscribers in the midst of a free one-month trial.

Last year’s WrestleMania reached 1.12 million domestic subscribers, but all of those were paid. You can read more from the NY Post’s piece at this link.
