Nakamura Staples Video, Seth Rollins Wins Poll, NXT Takeover And HOF Attendance, WWE Programming Expanding In Russia?

– As noted, Shinsuke Nakamura received 4 staples to the back of his head after taking a moonsault from Manny Andrade at Friday’s WWE NXT live event in Columbia, South Carolina. The match was stopped so Nakamura could be cleaned up but he showed no signs of being hurt before finishing the match. WWE posted this video of Nakamura getting the staples after the match:

– WWE has a new poll asking which former WWE NXT Champions will end up with the most impressive career – Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, Big E or Kevin Owens. As of this writing, 62% went with Rollins while 19% vote for Sami and 15% went with Owens.

– The WWE NXT “Takeover: Dallas” event on April 1st from the Kay Bailey Hutchison Center in Dallas was sold out with 9,000 in attendance. The 2016 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony the next night from the American Airlines Center was also sold out with 11,000 fans in attendance.

– WWE officials met with the chief editor of Match TV, Russia’s only major sports channel, at WrestleMania 32 in Dallas. No deals have been signed but it appears the two sides are negotiating. WWE premiering on Match TV would be huge for them in Russia as they currently air one-hour versions of RAW and SmackDown each week on the 2×2 channel, which just 2% of the country has access to, compared to the 50% that have access to Match TV.
