– Alex Riley criticized several NXT stars in a backstage video posted by WWE. He said that he’s been waiting for an audience to have pity for him, and he doesn’t need the pity anymore.

– NXT General Manager William Regal announced that former TNA Champion Samoa Joe will be taking on Sami Zayn in a 2 out of 3 falls match in two weeks on NXT. The match will determine the number one contender for the NXT Championship.

– Regal also said that a new NXT signing would be arriving next week. This person appeared at the tapings
