As noted earlier today, Seth Rollins flew back to Birmingham, Alabama after re-injuring his knee during a show closing segment where he was attacked by Samoa Joe last week.
During tonight’s episode of Raw, WWE confirmed that Rollins tore his MCL and stated that Rollins appearing at Wrestlemania 33 was “still in doubt.” The plan had been for Rollins to face Triple H at the company’s flagship PPV.
Rollins tore his MCL and ACL in November 2015 while wrestling Kane in Ireland and was out from November 2015 to June 2016, missing Wrestlemania 32.
