Fueled by WWE Draft, last week’s WWE SmackDown viewership increased on October 1.
According to Brandon Thurston, 2.25 million viewers watched the show on Friday, and the show drew a 0.62 rating (809,000 viewers ) in the 18 to 49 demographic. Both of these numbers are up from the September 24 episode; last week, 2.135 million viewers watched the show, which scored a 0.55 rating in the same demographic.
Thurston notes that SmackDown was the top show on cable in this demographic on October 1.
As for AEW Rampage, Oct 1 episode drew 622,000 viewers and the program scored a 0.25 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic with 330,000 viewers. These numbers are down from the previous week; an average of 639,500 viewers watched the show on September 24, which was the special “Grand Slam” edition of the program. The September 24 episode drew a 0.29 rating in the same demographic.
This was the least-viewed of the eight episodes of Rampage so far, in both total viewership and in the demo.
