Longtime WWE referee Tom Castor is reflecting on more than two decades inside the squared circle, taking to social media this week to celebrate a major milestone in his professional career.
Twenty-Six Years Inside the Ring
Ahead of Wednesday night’s episode of WWE NXT on The CW Network, Castor posted a statement expressing gratitude for his journey in the wrestling industry:
- Castor’s Anniversary Statement: “Tonight marks 26 years for me in this amazing business,” Castor wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “There is no possible way I can thank everyone that has impacted, guided, and supported me during these last twenty-six years, but I’m truly grateful for everyone that’s helped me along this journey.”
- WWE Career Timeline: After spending years on the independent circuit, Castor began working non-televised NXT events on July 29, 2016. He officially signed a full-time contract as a WWE official on October 25, 2016.
A Recognized Face Among WWE Officials
Castor has spent over a decade with WWE, becoming a mainstay on both the NXT brand and main roster broadcasts. Over the years, he has earned widespread respect from fans, peers, and management alike—most notably during a 2019 NXT event in Omaha, Nebraska, where he famously broke his leg during a match between Velveteen Dream, Matt Riddle, and Adam Cole, yet fought through the excruciating pain to count the final three-fall pinfall.
