NXT Viewership Drop On CW Network Facing Heavy World Series Competition

WWE NXT experienced a noticeable decline in television viewership on Tuesday, October 27, facing direct competition from major prime-time sporting coverage.

According to figures reported by Wrestlenomics, this week’s episode on the CW Network averaged 520,000 viewers. The figure represents a significant drop from the previous week’s broadcast on October 20, which drew 655,000 viewers.

In the key 18-to-49 demographic, the broadcast recorded a 0.09 rating, down slightly from the 0.10 demo score earned the prior week. The ratings dip coincided with stiff network competition, as the show ran directly opposite Game 4 of the World Series between the Milwaukee Brewers and Tampa Bay Rays.
