Fresh off the fallout of TNA Bound For Glory 2026, legendary tag team Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy are stepping into power for a special anniversary broadcast of Thursday Night iMPACT!.
To mark 35 years of The Hardys, TNA management has given the iconic duo full operational control over the October 15 edition of the show—and their very first match announcement is already sending shockwaves through the tag team division.
Nic Nemeth vs. Ryan Nemeth Confirmed With Big Title Stipulation
The Hardys have officially booked a high-stakes brother-versus-brother singles collision: reigning TNA World Tag Team Champion Ryan Nemeth will take on his brother and tag partner, former TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth.
However, to ensure a pure, competitive contest between the championship duo, Matt and Jeff have put an ironclad ultimatum on the line:
- Stipulation: If either Nic or Ryan attempts to intentionally lose or sabotage the match in any way—whether via intentional disqualification, purposeful count-out, or by “laying down” for the pinfall—both brothers will be immediately stripped of their TNA World Tag Team Titles.
- Hardys’ Statement: “If either Nemeth intentionally loses the match, whether it be count out, disqualification or laying down for the count, then both Nemeths will be stripped of their TNA World Tag Team Titles.”
Broadcast Information and Event Overview
The Hardy-controlled edition of TNA Thursday Night iMPACT! will air on Thursday, October 15, across TNA’s international broadcast footprint:
- United States: Streaming and airing at 9:00 PM ET / 8:00 PM CT on AMC, AMC+, and TNA+.
- Canada: Airing at 8:00 PM ET on Sportsnet 360.
With the TNA World Tag Team Championships hanging by a thread over the Nemeth brothers’ dynamic, the Hardys’ takeover promises to deliver a chaotic, high-stakes evening of action following Bound For Glory.
