As WWE Superstar Logan Paul nears medical clearance for an in-ring return, the high-profile media personality has set his sight on a fresh target—while also firing shots at NXT’s rising stars.
Addressing his health status and future plans during his latest vlog, Paul made it clear that he wants to settle his feud with TNA crossover sensation Joe Hendry as soon as doctors give him the green light to compete.
Hendry has repeatedly targeted Paul in recent months through his signature parody music videos and songs, including “Fire Logan Paul.” More recently, Hendry taunted Paul over his unsuccessful attempt to pull a rare shiny Pokémon card during a 34-hour streaming marathon.
“Joe Hendry is one of the guys that, like, where we both are in our careers aside, if I get an opportunity to kick his ass, like, as one of the first people that I wrestle when I’m cleared to wrestle, which should be today, by the way, I think, maybe, hopefully, probably not, I would take it,” Paul said. “Like, let me fk Joe Hendry up. Not only is he rubbing it in my face about the 34 hours that I slaved by the way, trying to get a shiny.”
In the same vlog, Paul reacted to a recent viral spot from NXT talent EK Prosper, who hit a springboard moonsault from inside the ring through an announce table during a match against Grayson Waller. Paul compared the spot to a similar move he executed through a table against Jey Uso, jokingly comparing himself to Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels.
“It’s always humbling when I see these young bucks copying the Jedi,” Paul remarked. “Dude from NXT did my move. The move that I did where I jumped from the second rope inside the ring and flew backwards at a back flip and landed onto Jey Uso through the table. I saw Shawn Michaels try to do it and he broke his fking hip. So obviously me being better than Shawn Michaels, I was like, I can do that, and I was right, and that ended up being on my rookie, my WWE rookie card.”
Paul poked fun at NXT as WWE’s “JV team,” arguing that his own version of the move required a greater distance than Prosper’s due to the size of main roster arenas.
“Obviously, the NXT arena, you know, these guys are working hard. They’re on the come up. But let’s be honest, that’s the JV team, and it’s smaller. The arena is smaller. The table can’t be as far because the arena is small,” Paul said. “So he did it. But he didn’t go as far. So you get a round of snaps. Maybe you’ll graduate to a round of applause when you graduate to WWE. Right now, you get a round of snaps.”
Despite the banter, Paul gave Prosper credit for pulling off the high-risk maneuver, revealing that he still carries a permanent lump on his shin from executing the same dive against Uso.
“Look, I’m watching NXT. No, I’m not. But I’m watching the clips. EK Prosper. Regardless of the distance, the size of the arena, it doesn’t matter. Brother, you got balls, and I know because I did that sht,”* Paul admitted. “You know what’s funny? After he did it, I seen him grabbing his shin right here. It’s funny. When I did it, I fked up this part of my shin. Look, it still has a lump to this day.”
While an exact return date has not been confirmed by WWE officials, Paul expressed optimism that his medical evaluation will result in immediate clearance.
