WWE Suffers Multiple Production Botches During Sunday Night’s Main Event

WWE experienced a pair of noticeable production miscues during the live broadcast of Sunday Night’s Main Event on September 6 from Atlanta, Georgia.

The visual and timing errors occurred surrounding the high-stakes six-woman tag team encounter featuring Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Tatum Paxley against Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab.

Kelly Kelly Entrance Graphic Blunder

The first mistake occurred prior to the match during Paxley’s entrance to the ring.

With Flair and Bliss already waiting inside the squared circle, Paxley made her way toward the stage. However, as she walked out, the name and entrance graphics for former WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly briefly flashed across the arena video screens.

The partially distorted graphic was taken down almost instantly, indicating that the production crew accidentally triggered the wrong graphic package. Kelly Kelly, who signed a WWE Legends contract in April 2025, has not competed in a televised WWE match since the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble.

In-Ring Timing Miscommunication

A second awkward moment unfolded during the match itself.

At one point in the contest, Flair and Michin came to a sudden halt in the center of the ring while waiting for Cargill to move into position for a tag. Broadcast audio caught Flair shouting, “Come on,” in an effort to hurry Cargill onto the apron to execute the planned spot.

Despite the timing miscue, Cargill’s team eventually recovered and secured the victory after Cargill hit her signature Jaded finisher on Flair.
