Reigning WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan (Gionna Daddio) is set to expand her acting profile after officially joining the cast of the upcoming psychological thriller feature Ping.
According to Deadline, principal photography is currently underway in Mississippi. Morgan joins an ensemble cast that includes Megan Lawless (Obsession), Fivel Stewart (The Recruit), creator/actress Savanah Moss, and Carter Jenkins (After).

Written and directed by Richie Gordon in his feature directorial debut, Ping tackles corporate anxiety, toxic workplace dynamics, and modern burnout culture.
The film follows an aspiring creative director (played by Lawless) who lands a remote “dream job,” only for her life to spiral as she is forced to navigate an overbearing boss she can never escape.
International sales rights are currently being launched at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) market by Ultimate Media Group, with CAA Media Finance handling domestic sales.
Speaking on the film’s core theme, Gordon noted:
“Ping examines the promises of modern work that can push us to work harder and longer, sometimes at the expense of ourselves – it asks those of us living through burnout culture: what is enough? I was blown away by how deeply that resonated with Megan and the rest of the cast, and am incredibly fortunate to have some of the best crew in the business to bring it to life.”

Morgan’s Expanding Hollywood Footprint
While Morgan’s specific role in Ping remains undisclosed, the casting marks her second notable film project of 2026 following her work on NEON’s Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo alongside Lily James.
Despite filming commitments, the Women’s World Champion continues to maintain a regular presence on WWE RAW, successfully defending her title against Stephanie Vaquer on the September 7 episode.
