NXT General Manager Robert Stone took swift disciplinary action against Wren Sinclair following a vicious post-match assault on the September 8 episode of WWE NXT.
The chaos erupted after NXT Women’s Champion Kelani Jordan successfully defended her title against Jaida Parker. Before Jordan could celebrate her victory, Sinclair ambushed the champion, wielding a kendo stick and relentlessly beating her down until ringside security rushed the ring to pull her away.
Backstage Confrontation & Indefinite Suspension
Sinclair’s violent outburst did not go unpunished. Later in the broadcast, Stone confronted Sinclair backstage to address her actions, officially placing her on suspension.
Stone did not specify the exact duration of the suspension, leaving Sinclair’s status on the brand up in the air. While Sinclair succeeded in making a statement at the expense of the Women’s Champion, the ambush has temporarily taken her off the NXT roster board while Jordan recovers from the attack.

Sinclair using a kendo stick to make a statement isn’t a bad strategy in theory, but getting suspended before you can even challenge for the title you just attacked the champion over feels like taking two steps backward.
