NXT Results – September 8, 2026 – Welcome to Wrestling Attitude’s live coverage of NXT for September 8, 2026, coming to you from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida!

The show opened with Vic Joseph and Booker T welcoming us to the Performance Center as Jaida Parker made her way to the ring for the first match of the night. Kelani Jordan followed right after, setting up the opener.

NXT Women’s Championship: Kelani Jordan (c) vs. Jaida Parker

The bell rang and Jordan and Parker locked up. Parker knocked Jordan down with a shoulder tackle, but Jordan fired back with stomps in the corner. Both women traded roll‑ups until Jordan tried for a hurricanrana. Parker blocked it and planted her with a sit‑out powerbomb.

On the outside, Jordan caught Parker with a kick and followed with a twisting neckbreaker. During the break, Jordan repeatedly bounced Parker’s head off the apron before throwing her back inside. They traded right hands once the show returned, and Jordan rolled Parker up. Parker kicked out and locked in a Rings of Saturn, but Jordan countered into another pin attempt.

Parker kicked out and draped Jordan across the middle turnbuckle, setting up for her Hip Attack. Jordan avoided it and trapped Parker in the ropes, then hit a leg drop off the ropes and followed with a springboard moonsault to the outside.

Jordan rolled Parker back in and went for a 450 Splash, but Parker moved and hit a fallaway slam. She draped Jordan across the middle turnbuckle again and landed her Hip Attack, then tried for a second. Jordan cut her off with a Dragon Screw and hit a split‑legged moonsault for the win.

Winner (and still champion): Kelani Jordan

After the match, Wren Sinclair blindsided Jordan. She dropped the referee and unloaded with kendo‑stick shots inside the ring and on the floor until officials ran out to stop her.

– A video from Robert Stone’s office aired next. Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno told Stone they wanted Brutus and Julius Creed. Stone agreed, and both teams headed to the ring.

Miles Borne Checks In / Tavion Heights Reacts

Miles Borne posted another message saying he might’ve been wrong about Tavion Heights and wished him luck in his North American Title match. In the NXT Lunchroom Playset, Heights watched the video with Hank & Tank. Heights said he didn’t know what to believe and walked off.

Romeo Moreno & Noam Dar vs. The Creed Brothers (Brutus & Julius)

Last week, Los Americano Hermanos returned as the Creed Brothers and jumped Dar and Moreno. After plenty of lobbying, Dar & Moreno finally got their chance to run it back. This was the Creeds’ first NXT match since October 2023.

Moreno and Julius opened with amateur grappling. Brutus tagged in, and Julius delivered the slowest backbreaker imaginable over Brutus’ knee. Moreno fired back with a kick, and Dar grabbed a blind tag. Dar knocked Julius off the apron, held Brutus in place, and Moreno hit a double stomp. They followed with stereo submission holds on both Creeds.

The Creeds escaped and rolled outside, where Dar and Moreno kicked and dove onto them. Julius charged Moreno, but Moreno moved and Julius crashed into the steps. Dar and Moreno threw Brutus back inside and stomped his arm and legs.

Dar threw kicks until Brutus powered up and hit a German suplex. Julius tagged in and the Creeds hit stereo knees to Dar’s gut. Julius kept control as they fought around the ring. Dar tried sneaking a tag, but Brutus cut him off. The Creeds hit a backstabber/fallaway slam combo, but Dar caught Julius with a dropkick. Dar tried again for a tag, but Julius caught him in a bear hug.

Dar finally escaped both Creeds and tagged Moreno, who cleared the ring and hit a missile dropkick on Brutus. Dar tagged back in and they hit Julius with a double slam, but Julius kicked out.

Moreno went up top, but Julius caught him and turned it into a powerbomb. Brutus dragged Dar out of the ring and climbed up top. Dar cut him off, and Moreno tried a cover, but Brutus broke it up with a Brutus Bomb from the ringpost. Dar and Brutus brawled outside. Moreno tried a quick rollup, but Julius clotheslined him. Brutus joined Julius in the ring, and they hit a double slam on Moreno for the win.

Winners: The Creed Brothers

Birthright Meets Regal & Finlay

Footage from earlier in the NXT Lunchroom Playset showed Birthright complaining about Zilla Fatu. Lord Steven Regal and Fit Finlay walked in and told them to stop whining and do something about it — like kick Fatu’s butt. Regal volunteered Dempsey, and that seemed to settle things.

Wren Sinclair Confronted By Robert Stone

In the NXT Warehouse Playset, Robert Stone stepped in front of Wren Sinclair and demanded answers. Sinclair unloaded on him, saying no one was looking out for her or Kendal Grey and that everyone was leaving them to fend for themselves.

Stone didn’t argue. He cut her off and told her she was suspended, ending the confrontation on the spot.

Charlie Dempsey Addresses NXT / Birthright’s Message to Zilla Fatu

Charlie Dempsey stood in the ring with a mic and unloaded about being underappreciated. He said he might not be flashy, but he’s always been about action over words — and maybe that’s held him back. He claimed he’s never sold out or played the game like others in the back.

Dempsey said joining Birthright was too good to pass up because they want to reshape the business in their image. He called himself the best grappler in the company but said he’s been made to look like a joke. He vented about a system more interested in turning football players into stars instead of wrestlers like him who actually deserve it.

He said no one in the back could step up to Birthright, especially Zilla Fatu. Then, for reasons known only to him, he pitched Fatu on joining Birthright again and asked him to come out and accept the invitation.

Zilla Fatu came out and said most of what Dempsey said was true. He admitted he feels like he lives in his father’s shadow, but he’s not going to get lost in Birthright. He said he’s not “one of the ones” — he’s the one. Fatu turned down the offer.

Birthright immediately jumped him 4‑on‑1. Fatu fought them off until Lexis King blasted him with a chair. They cleared the announce table and put Fatu through it. Dempsey ripped Fatu’s shirt off for good measure.

Naraku Sends a Warning

A taped promo from Naraku aired next. He talked more about the poison mist, saying he’s already used the red and green mist on Shiloh Hill. If Hill doesn’t stop this now, Naraku promised he’d use every color of mist on him.

Backstage – Shugars, Rook & Tony D’Angelo

Shugars tried talking strategy with Rook and Tony D’Angelo as they got ready. D’Angelo shut it down and told them to stay out of his way. Tristan Angels then walked in, annoyed he wasn’t included in the match while Rook was. He called Shugars a sheep and stormed off.

NXT North American Championship: Jackson Drake vs. Tavion Heights

Heatwave left Miles Borne in pieces. He and Heights lost the tag titles to Vanity Project, he lost the North American Title to Jackson Drake, and then he attacked Heights for no real reason. Borne later claimed on X that he did it before Heights could turn on him — even though Heights never showed any sign of it. This week, Borne posted again saying maybe he was wrong. Meanwhile, Drake offered Heights a title shot, seemingly just to rub it in.

Heights started hot, throwing Drake overhead and wrestling him to the mat. His amateur background kept Drake scrambling, forcing Drake to try quick roll‑ups just to slow him down. Drake hit a kick and an elbow, sent Heights off the ropes, and whiffed on an armdrag. Heights answered with a shoulder.

They traded strikes and go‑behinds until Drake rolled outside. Heights went to hit the ropes, but Ricky Smokes grabbed his ankle. Heights leveled Smokes, got back in the ring, and Drake immediately tossed him out and hit a senton.

Back inside, Drake grabbed a headlock and threw Heights down. Heights fought up and ran Drake into the corner. Drake jumped from the second rope, Heights moved, and Drake grabbed his ankle. Drake took off his boot, and Heights instantly went for an ankle lock.

Drake escaped and rolled out to check his ankle. Heights hit an ankle‑chop‑block when Drake returned. Drake rolled out again, Heights followed, and Drake sent him into the ringpost. Back in the ring, Drake hammered Heights with elbows to the chest.

Heights grabbed the bad ankle again and bent it until Drake punched free. Heights got up and they traded shots until Heights dropped Drake with a right hand. Heights hit a belly‑to‑belly and a sling blade. Drake caught him with a kick and a suplex.

On the apron, Drake kicked Heights. Heights caught the leg and German suplexed Drake onto the apron — the ankle‑est part of the ring. They rolled back in and traded covers until Heights went back to the ankle. Drake blasted him with a stiff knee and went up top. He hit the 450 and pinned Heights to retain.

Winner (and still champion): Jackson Drake

After the match, Miles Borne logged off X and walked through the crowd. Heights saw him, shot him a glare, and headed to the back.

Backstage – Montana, Carver & Prosper

Cruz Montana, Keanu Carver, and EK Prosper agreed to put their issues aside so they could get their match next week. Robert Stone walked in, said he was “looking forward to the competition,” and left.

Zaria Speaks / Izzi Dame & Thea Hail Step Up

NXT Women’s North American Champion Zaria made her way to the ring. She reminded everyone that she’s had trouble making friends and recently dumped the Speed Titles out of NXT. She said that for the longest time, something was always holding her back from championship gold — mainly Sol Ruca.

Since cutting Ruca out, Zaria said she’s knocked down all the NXT favorites. She recapped Heatwave and called it her redemption. She declared she would become the most dominant North American Champion, which of course brought out Izzi Dame.

Dame said she didn’t buy Zaria’s act and claimed Zaria had become everything she used to hate. Dame said she would expose Zaria and show everyone who she really is. That brought out Thea Hail, who said she was finally going after what she wants. Dame called her “boooooooring” and said she’d let Hail and Zaria fight it out and pick up the leftovers.

Hail said she wanted to prove she wasn’t a one‑hit wonder. Zaria fired back that Hail always needs someone else to think for her. Hail said Zaria was jealous because she had a real friend in Jaida Parker. She told Zaria to get over Sol Ruca, and that set Zaria off. They brawled, Hail slapped on an armbar, and even did an Ultimate Warrior impression with the tassels before officials stepped in.

Backstage – Hank & Tank Talk to Miles Borne

Backstage, Hank and Tank approached Miles Borne, who was upset that Tavion Heights wouldn’t talk to him. They told Borne he needed to handle it. Borne said that next week, he’ll apologize to Heights face‑to‑face.

Birthright Celebrates / Everyone Wants a Title Shot

Back from break, Birthright were celebrating their five‑on‑one beatdown of Zilla Fatu with William Regal and Fit Finlay in the room. Vanity Project wandered in to brag about themselves. Dorian Van Dux and Sean Legacy showed up next, saying they deserved an NXT Title shot. Then the Creed Brothers arrived and said they did. Then another team. Then another. Everyone yelled over each other until the segment simply collapsed under its own noise.

Kali Armstrong & Izzy Hale Clash

In the NXT Interview Playset, Kali Armstrong was hyping herself up. Izzy Hale walked by, accused her of stealing interview time, and they immediately started shouting at each other. They kept yelling until the segment ended and the main event introductions began.

Tony D’Angelo, Mason Rook & Saquon Shugars vs. EK Prosper, Cruz Montana & Keanu Carver

The idea behind this match was simple: the winning trio earns a Triple Threat next week, and the winner of that becomes the Number One Contender to Grayson Waller’s NXT Championship. Keanu Carver pitched it, Robert Stone approved it, and it was a far better solution than six guys yelling in Stone’s office for a month.

Shugars, Rook, and D’Angelo were introduced first. Grayson Waller then wandered out to commentary. After a break, next week’s card was previewed, and then Prosper, Montana, and Carver finally made their entrances. Seven minutes after the first entrance, the bell rang.

Everyone paired off and brawled. Shugars and Prosper stayed in the ring, making them legal. Prosper hit a kick off the ropes. Carver grabbed a blind tag as Shugars threw Prosper outside. Shugars locked Carver in an octopus, but Carver shoved him halfway across the ring to break free.

Rook tagged in and Carver hit a back body drop. Montana tagged and Rook splashed him in the corner, then hit another splash off the ropes for two. D’Angelo tagged in, but Montana caught both him and Rook with a double cutter. Montana hit D’Angelo with a sidewalk slam for two, but D’Angelo answered with a German suplex.

Prosper tagged in and D’Angelo sent him to the corner. Prosper jumped off the top, but D’Angelo caught him with a spinebuster. Shugars tagged in and hit an Atomic Drop while Waller rambled about how bad everyone in NXT smells. Carver and Montana launched Prosper at Shugars on the ringpost, and Prosper hurricanrana’d him off.

Tags came fast, with everyone hitting one or two moves before bailing. Both teams worked well together knowing what was at stake. Montana isolated Shugars in his corner and Prosper dropkicked him, then hit a suplex. Prosper applied a headlock, but Shugars escaped. Montana cut off the tag, then Carver followed, but Shugars slammed him and tagged Rook.

Rook knocked Montana down, splashed him in the corner, hit a scoop slam, and followed with a senton for two. Montana rolled him up for two. They kept Rook isolated while Waller made fun of Rook’s accent. Carver and Montana hit a double superplex, and Prosper added a splash, but Rook kicked out.

Rook tagged D’Angelo, who suplexed Prosper repeatedly, then did the same to Carver. He hit Prosper with a bulldog and a powerslam, but Carver broke the cover. Cruz called for Spin the Block on D’Angelo but hit Carver instead.

D’Angelo speared Prosper and hit a chokeslam. Rook put Prosper on his shoulders and cannonballed him in the corner. Rook covered Prosper and scored the win.

Winners: Tony D’Angelo, Mason Rook & Saquon Shugars

After the match, Carver and Montana brawled outside while Shugars, D’Angelo, and Rook stood over Grayson Waller as the show ended.

NXT Preview – September 8, 2026

Kelani Jordan vs. Jaida Parker – NXT Women’s Championship

Kelani Jordan defends the NXT Women’s Championship for the first time since dethroning Kendal Grey at Heatwave. Jordan spent last Tuesday’s episode bragging about her win, but Jaida Parker cut her off and called her shot. Their confrontation quickly escalated, setting the stage for tonight’s title match as Jordan tries to prove her reign isn’t a fluke.

Jackson Drake vs. Tavion Heights – North American Championship

Jackson Drake of Vanity Project puts the North American Championship on the line against Tavion Heights. Drake captured the title from Myles Borne at Heatwave, and Heights was blindsided moments later by Borne’s Borne Again. Borne later claimed he attacked Heights before Heights could betray him first. Heights now tries to regain momentum while Drake looks to solidify his first defense.

Six‑Man Tag Team Match

Last week’s NXT ended with a chaotic confrontation involving Grayson Waller, Saquon Shugars, Cruz Montana, Mason Rook, EK Prosper, Keanu Carver, and Tony D’Angelo. Everyone except Waller ended up brawling. Tonight, D’Angelo teams with Rook and Shugars to face Montana, Prosper, and Carver. The stakes are high: the winning trio will face one another in a Triple Threat Number One Contenders Match to determine who challenges Waller next for the NXT Championship.
