TNA iMPACT Results – August 27, 2026 – Welcome to WrestlingAttitude’s live coverage of TNA iMPACT on August 27, from the CAA Centre in Brampton, Ontario, Canada.
Ryan Nemeth opened the show, introducing his big brother as the TNA World Champion and calling the Nemeths the greatest family in professional wrestling. Nic said that if that’s true, then he must be the most valuable man in TNA.
Ryan claimed he had a team of experts backstage put together a list of people who managed to become double champions — other than him. Kurt Angle’s name popped up on the screen, but the brothers immediately roasted him for being bald and told production to take his name down.
Nic turned his attention to Leon Slater. He called Slater a one‑trick pony, saying everyone should bet on themselves… unless they’re betting against him.
Slater’s music hit and he walked to the ring. He said he didn’t confront Nic at the end of Lockdown to “take the p*** and steal your spotlight.” He meant every word he said, and he’s made a habit of backing up everything he claims. Slater said when he talks about becoming the youngest TNA World Champion, he intends to make it happen.
Slater then looked at the Tag Team Titles and said they were looking pretty good to him. He mentioned he’s formed an undefeated partnership of his own. Ricky Sosa came out to join him. Ryan immediately shut it down, saying there would be no title match because Daria Rae wouldn’t allow it.
Santino Marella’s music hit. He came out and called Ryan “stupid head,” saying Daria might not allow it — but he will. Santino made the match official: The Nemeths will defend the Tag Titles against Slater and Sosa tonight.
Order Four Backstage Update
Order Four were shown backstage with Mila Moore finishing up a phone call. She said Mustafa Ali was still in the hospital after Lockdown and wouldn’t be cleared to compete tonight. Ali had been scheduled to team with Special Agent Zero against Trey Miguel and Jason Hotch, but with him out, Moore announced that John Skyler would take his place. She added that Skyler would act as the stand‑in leader of Order Four until Ali returns.
Elijah vs. Bear Bronson w/Bryan Meyers
They locked up and Bronson went straight to brawling. Elijah caught him with a flying clothesline and then did the Undertaker walk before clubbing Bronson’s arm. Elijah dragged Bronson to the edge of the apron and smashed his head against it. He tried to run around the ring, but Meyers stepped in his path, distracting him long enough for Bronson to dive through the ropes and wipe him out.
Back in the ring, Bronson dropped an elbow off the turnbuckle. Elijah fired back with a dropkick. Bronson hit a sidewalk slam for a count of two. They traded chops in the middle of the ring, slugging it out until Elijah hit two superkicks. He missed a knee strike and Bronson caught him with a chokebomb.
Bronson tried for a suplex, but his arm gave out. Elijah took advantage and hit an Alabama Slam. Meyers tried to interfere again, but Elijah knocked him off the apron and then hit the Highwayman’s Farewell on Bronson for the win.
Winner: Elijah
After the match, the rest of The System hit the ring and beat down Elijah four‑on‑one, plus Alisha joining in.

Elayna Black Speaks
Back from break, Elayna Black appeared in a dark, basement‑style setting straight out of That 70’s Show. She said she was proud of how she performed at Lockdown, but disappointed she didn’t win the Knockouts Title against Xia Brookside. Elayna wondered if it was karma catching up to her, but said she knows why she’s doing this — to be a role model and to prove she has a mission. She said she’ll keep pushing until she reaches it.
Jason Hotch & Trey Miguel vs. Order 4 (John Skyler & Special Agent 0)
Hotch and Skyler were still hesitant to lock up, keeping their distance, but Zero and Miguel had no problem throwing hands. The match moved slowly at first, with single moves leading to quick tags on both sides.
During picture‑in‑picture, it looked like Hotch might have tweaked something. Miguel and Skyler checked on him, but Zero didn’t care and dragged him back inside. Zero stomped him down in the corner and kept the pressure on. Mila Moore also got involved, choking Hotch on the ropes while the referee was distracted.
Back from break, Zero flattened Hotch with a swinging face slam. Hotch tried to fight back, but Zero cut him off with a bear hug to stop the tag. Hotch bit his way out and hit a chinbreaker, finally reaching Miguel for the tag. Miguel flew in and cleared the ring, including an enzuigiri to Skyler.
Miguel went up top, but Zero pulled Skyler out of the way. Hotch came in to help, and Zero tried to kick him but nailed Skyler instead. Hotch and Zero spilled to the outside, where Hotch threw Zero into the ringpost. Miguel hit a meteora on Skyler and pinned him for the win.
Winner: Jason Hotch & Trey Miguel
Mustafa Ali Sends a Message
After the match, a bed‑ridden Mustafa Ali appeared on the screen. He congratulated Hotch for putting him in the hospital by fracturing his ribs at Lockdown. Ali said he and Hotch have taken things too far and too many people are getting hurt. He proposed a truce and told Hotch to re‑join Order 4. Ali said the choice was Hotch’s, and the feed cut out, leaving Hotch in the ring with a decision to make.
The Righteous Approach BDE & Rich Swann
Backstage, The Righteous walked up to BDE and Rich Swann. They wanted to know if BDE had thought about their offer. Swann told them to get the hell out of there. Dutch said he and BDE should go one‑on‑one, and Vincent added that when BDE loses, he should reconsider their offer.

Avery Styles Interview
Avery Styles was interviewed in the back about signing with TNA. He said the whole experience has been “awesome.” Moose walked in and congratulated him on the contract. Moose told him to be careful about who he surrounds himself with. He specifically warned Styles to stay away from Frankie Kazarian, which immediately brought Kazarian into the frame. Kaz told Moose to shut up and said he’s looking out for Styles, and Moose should stay out of his ear.
TNA Knockouts Television Championship Tournament Finals: Jada Stone vs. M by Elegance w/The Elegance Brand
We were reminded that last week’s All‑Elegance final was spoiled when Heather lost to Stone. M by Elegance reached the finals with wins over Rosemary and Indi Hartwell, plus a bye when Wendy Choo vs. Elayna Black hit the 10‑minute limit. Stone earned her spot by beating Alisha Edwards and Jody Threat. The winner of this new title will defend it exclusively on Impact.
After quick pretaped promos and introductions, the match got underway. M had a clear height advantage, but Stone countered with speed. They traded early nearfalls, and Stone drove M into the corner with elbows. Stone hit a missile dropkick to the face and followed with a standing moonsault for a count of two. M rolled outside, grabbed Stone’s ankle, and wheelbarrow‑suplexed her onto the apron — the most Elegant part of the ring. Back inside, M slowed things down with clubbing shots and hit a falcon arrow for two.
M whipped Stone into the buckles while Mr. Elegance sparkled in the background. Stone tried a crossbody, but M caught her and turned it into a fallaway slam. M went after Stone’s taped shoulder, bouncing her head off the turnbuckles and hitting a dropkick. She followed with a big boot and the Tower of Elegance, but Stone kicked out at two.
M went up top for a moonsault, but Stone moved. Stone dodged a pump‑kick and fired up with a headscissor takedown, a dropkick, and a 619. She hit a rolling double stomp into a cradle, but M kicked out. Stone tried the Spark Stunner, but M countered. Stone climbed the ropes, but M grabbed her for a standing Blue Thunder Bomb and a superkick. M put Stone on her shoulders, but Stone slipped out, tripped her, and hit an uppercut.
Stone went up top for a moonsault, but M got the knees up. M hit a dumping powerbomb and climbed again, but Stone superkicked her and hit a Spanish Fly from the top. Stone followed with the split‑legged moonsault and covered, but M got her foot on the ropes.
Stone tried the Spark Stunner again, but M caught her and dropped her between her knees in a rollup‑style slam. The ref counted three, and just like that, M by Elegance became the inaugural Knockouts TV Champion.
Winner: M by Elegance

Matt Hardy Injured Backstage
After the commercial, Matt Hardy was shown being loaded into an ambulance. Jeff stayed right by his side, clearly worried, and climbed in with him before the doors closed. This adds Matt to the growing list of people mysteriously taken out backstage tonight.
Indi Hartwell Confronts Daria Rae
Indi Hartwell came to the ring and said she was furious that Daria Rae claimed she didn’t deserve a title shot. Hartwell said she’s been obsessed with wrestling since she was eight years old and there’s no plan B for her. She said she’s given everything she has and has never felt more ready.
That brought out Daria Rae and her shoulder pads. Rae called Hartwell “horribly mediocre.” She said Hartwell doesn’t deserve anything just because she’s “obsessed” with wrestling. Rae said Hartwell isn’t a draw and should take her underperforming self back to catering.
Hartwell fired back and called her “Diarrhea,” which the crowd immediately chanted because everyone in the building reverted to being ten years old. Hartwell said Rae has gotten soft. Rae said she’d kick Hartwell’s ass back to kangaroo land if she ever stepped in the ring with her. Hartwell said Rae shouldn’t take out her own failed career on everyone else.
Rae turned to leave, but Zoey Serrano (FKA Zoey Stark) hit the ring and jumped Hartwell from behind. Rae introduced her as TNA’s newest Knockout, and the two shook hands over Hartwell’s body.

Backstage – Indi Hartwell, Harley Hudson, Xia Brookside, Daria Rae & Santino
Coming back from another commercial, Indi Hartwell was shown cooling off backstage when Harley Hudson walked up to her. Hudson said she understood exactly what Hartwell was dealing with and promised she had her back. Before Hartwell could respond, Xia Brookside drifted into the shot with a smirk, mocking Hartwell for thinking she deserved a Knockouts Title opportunity in the first place.
Santino Marella stepped in next, saying that if Daria Rae wouldn’t make the match, he certainly could. That’s when Rae herself arrived, announcing that she had already taken tonight’s situation to the board and that Hartwell would be punished for her behavior. Santino pushed back immediately, making a tag match on the spot: Hartwell and Hudson vs. Brookside and Zoey Serrano.
– Next week, KC Navarro will take on Joe Alonzo in the first qualifier for the six-way match at Bound For Glory for the vacant X-Divison title.
TNA Tag Team Championship Match: The Nemeths (Ryan & Nic) (c) vs. Ricky Sosa & Leon Slater
The match opened with Leon Slater stepping in against Nic Nemeth, though Nic immediately bailed out and brought Ryan into the match. Slater didn’t waste time, springboarding in with a back elbow and bouncing Ryan’s head off the turnbuckles. He counted out ten punches in the corner before tagging Sosa, who joined him for a quick double‑team that ended with a senton on Ryan.
Ryan shoved Sosa away and tagged Nic back in. They moved fast through wristlocks until Sosa used his size to knock Nic down with a shoulder block. Nic tried a crossbody, but Sosa caught him and slammed him. A sharp elbow from Nic shifted things, sending Sosa into the champions’ corner. Ryan returned and worked him over until Sosa caught him with a dropkick off the ropes.
Slater tagged in and cracked Ryan with a high kick, then launched himself from the ringpost with a crossbody. He went for the cover, but Nic broke it up, earning a kick to the face from Slater. Slater hoisted Ryan for the Utopia spin and nearly scored the fall, but Ryan kicked out at a count of two.
After the break, Ryan and Sosa were in the ring with Ryan grinding down Slater. Nic tagged in, headbutted Slater in the corner, and raked his eyes across the ropes. Ryan came back in and played to the crowd, giving Slater the opening to dropkick him.
Nic tagged again, but Slater reached Sosa for a hot tag. Sosa tore through both champions, knocking Ryan to the floor and moonsaulting onto Nic for a close call. He tried a suplex, Nic countered and grabbed the tights, but Sosa kicked out and hit a neckbreaker for another two.
Nic answered with a DDT and set up for a superkick. Sosa caught the kick and planted him with a Blue Thunder Bang, setting up Slater’s tag. Slater hit a swanton 450 and had Nic beaten, but Ryan dove in, dragged Slater outside, and threw him into the steps.
Sosa took over again, hitting a springboard cutter on Nic for another near fall. He went for Headshot, but Ryan grabbed his ankle. Slater wiped out Ryan on the floor, but Sosa turned around into a superkick from Nic. Nic tried the Fame‑ass‑er, but Sosa countered into a powerbomb.
Sosa tried Headshot one more time, but Nic caught him and drilled him with Danger Zone. That was enough to keep Sosa down and retain the titles.

TNA iMPACT Preview – August 27, 2026
Road to Bound For Glory Begins
TNA moves forward from Sunday’s Lockdown event and begins the road to October’s Bound For Glory. Nic Nemeth already knows his challenger. Leon Slater vacated the X‑Division Championship to use Option C moments after Nemeth and his brother Ryan won the TNA World Tag Team Championship. The Nemeths open the show, likely to celebrate and address Slater’s decision.
X‑Division Qualifiers
The X‑Division Championship will be decided in a six‑way match at Bound For Glory. Qualifiers begin tonight. Fabian Aichner faces Rohit Raju, while KC Navarro meets Joe Alonzo. More qualifying matches will follow in the coming weeks as the field takes shape.
Indi Hartwell in Action
Indi Hartwell made her intentions clear at Lockdown. She wants Xia Brookside’s Knockouts World Championship. Brookside escaped Chicago with a sneaky win over Elayna Black, and Hartwell stepped forward immediately. Hartwell competes tonight, though her opponent has not been announced.
Elijah vs. Bear Bronson
Elijah faces Bear Bronson, who arrives with Brian Myers in his corner. The System continues to push its influence across the roster, and tonight’s match adds another chapter to their ongoing conflicts.
Knockouts TV Championship Final
The Knockouts TV Championship will be crowned tonight. Jada Stone meets M By Elegance in the final. The division has been building toward this moment for weeks, and tonight marks the official launch of the new title.
