Former WWE stars Kofi Kingston (now performing as Kofi) and Xavier Woods (Austin Creed) made their official All Elite Wrestling debuts on Sunday, August 30, at AEW All In: London. Arriving under their new team name, The New Level, the decorated duo entered the arena to A$AP Ferg’s hit track “New Level” before aligning with Swerve Strickland.
The massive reveal took place during the Buy-In pre-show, where the trio stepped out as the unannounced wild-card entrants in the high-stakes Trios Roulette Royale for the AEW World Trios Championship.
Unveiled As Swerve Strickland’s Wild-Card Entrants
The entrance unfolded as Swerve Strickland made his way to the Wembley Stadium stage alongside Prince Nana. Standing atop the ramp, Strickland stepped aside to introduce his mystery partners, sending the London crowd into a frenzy as Kofi and Creed walked out.
Entering the multi-team battle as the final participants, The New Level and Strickland joined the chaos against titleholders Hangman Adam Page, Brody King, and Bandido alongside five other opposing factions.
A Fresh Chapter Following WWE Exit
The Wembley appearance marks the beginning of a distinct new chapter for the legendary tag team, who departed WWE earlier in May following contract negotiations.
Leaving behind “The New Day” moniker, intellectual property, and ring names, Kofi and Creed’s immediate partnership with Strickland gives AEW a ready-made top-tier faction while completely redefining their presentation on a global stage.
