Following their debut at AEW All In 2026, newly crowned AEW World Trios Champions Austin Creed and Kofi—collectively known as New Level—have confirmed that their AEW contracts allow them to compete for outside promotions.
The duo shocked fans at Wembley Stadium over the weekend by aligning with Swerve Strickland as the wild card entry in the Trios Roulette Royale, ultimately winning the match to capture the AEW World Trios Championships. The move represents the first time Kofi has wrestled outside of WWE in his career, and Creed’s first time outside the promotion since 2010.
“Everything Is On The Table”
Appearing on The Ariel Helwani Show, Creed and Kofi were asked whether their new arrangement permits them to accept independent or international wrestling dates alongside their AEW obligations.
Creed emphasized the pair’s enthusiasm for the global tag team scene:
“We can jump around and do some other things. A lot of opportunities to go to other places and to wrestle people. The fact that tag team wrestling is all across the world is something that is really exciting to us.”
Kofi expanded on the operational freedom they now enjoy under All Elite Wrestling, highlighting how other roster members regularly compete abroad.
“Everything is on the table. I’m still getting used to being able to have so much freedom and do what we want to do. There are opportunities aplenty. As you see with a lot of AEW wrestlers doing all kinds of things on the roster and internationally as well. Kaun was wrestling as champion in Africa. The possibilities are endless. It’s very exciting.”
Immediate Title Defense On AEW Dynamite
While outside opportunities lie ahead, New Level’s immediate focus remains locked on AEW.
Along with Swerve Strickland, Creed and Kofi are scheduled to put their newly won AEW World Trios Championships on the line during tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite against The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz & Myron Reed).
