EC3 Hospitalized Due To Severe Leg Infection Following Gathering Of The Juggalos

Promoter and veteran professional wrestler EC3 has been admitted to the hospital after contracting a severe leg infection, though he has reassured fans that he is doing fine.

The former TNA World Heavyweight Champion and NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion revealed on social media that the infection stemmed from an appearance at the 2026 Gathering of the Juggalos.

EC3 Shares Hospitalization Details On Instagram

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, EC3 explained the timeline of his hospitalization, noting that he initially sought medical attention last week before officially being admitted five days later.

“Went to a Gathering. The woods gave me a souvenir.

Leg got infected. Hospital acquired. Well, I tried to acquire it last week and they said no and I said you sure? Then they said yes and 5 days later I said still sure and they said naaa.

I’m fine. Please spare anyone close to me the questions. Specifically @noahiscookinn. They don’t know when I’ll be back. Neither do I.

Thank you for the well wishes in advances. Send them through vibes and not texts please.

Until then, I’ll be scribbling manifestos, reading ‘books’ and watching Nolan movies.”

Recent Health Struggles And Career Background

The hospitalization comes after online concern regarding EC3’s physical condition a few weeks ago, when video surfaced of him looking bloated and in discomfort at an All Star Wrestling event in Canada. EC3 later attributed his appearance in that clip to a combination of selling, working through an existing leg issue, and a difficult travel schedule.

  • Previous Medical History: EC3 was previously hospitalized for a serious infection back in 2021.
  • Current Status: There is currently no definitive timetable for his return to in-ring competition.
  • Current Projects: Outside of performing on the independent circuit, EC3 operates Exodus Pro Wrestling in Cleveland, Ohio. He also made a brief return to TNA Wrestling earlier in 2026.
