Former AEW Women’s World Champion Willow Nightingale has broken her silence following her title loss to Mercedes Moné at AEW All In 2026, taking to social media to reflect on the defeat and promise a strong comeback.
Nightingale’s championship run came to an end in front of the Wembley Stadium crowd following a physical bout against Moné.
Nightingale Addresses The Loss And Physical Toll On Social Media
Taking to X (formerly Twitter) after the match, Nightingale admitted the emotional and physical weight of the defeat while expressing pride in her effort inside the ring.
“In defeat, I do not smile,” Nightingale wrote. “But I can pull my bruised and aching body out of bed knowing I gave my all.”
Looking ahead to her eventual resurgence in the division, Nightingale added:
“And maybe not today or tomorrow or even the day after that, but I must remember that eventually… I will smile again. Let’s keep pushing forward.”

Nightingale entered Wembley Stadium under tough physical circumstances, having revealed just days prior to All In that she was competing with a broken hand. Despite the handicap, she proceeded with the scheduled title defense against Moné.
