Angel Garza addressed social media backlash head-on regarding the ongoing storyline involving Penta and Los Perros del Mal on AAA television.
The criticism emerged following the August 22 broadcast of AAA on FOX, where Penta faced Bronco Nima in a singles match carrying high-stakes stipulations. After several viewers questioned the pacing and creative direction of the angle, Garza took to social media to mock those complaining, suggesting that fans lack an understanding of long-term professional wrestling storytelling.
“You all would SUCK as writers [laughter emojis] Wanting everything in one show, no story, just going straight to the climax and finishing it [laughter emojis] That’s why you don’t work on this. Keep your a* at home and stay tuned,”* Garza wrote.
Tensions Escalating Within Los Perros del Mal
The match on August 22 featured a stipulation that would have forced Penta to rejoin Los Perros del Mal had he lost. Although Penta earned the victory, Daga attempted to recruit him voluntarily by offering him a Los Perros del Mal t-shirt after the match.
Penta rejected the offer, triggering a chaotic brawl that drew out Rey Fenix and Dragon Lee to even the odds. Later in the broadcast, Los Perros del Mal officially fractured when the faction turned on Bronco Nima and ejected him from the group following his defeat.
