TNA iMPACT Results – July 16, 2026 – Welcome to WrestlingAttitude’s coverage results of TNA iMPACT on July 16.

Knockouts Television Championship Tournament Match: M by Elegance w/ Heather by Elegance vs. Rosemary w/ Allie

The Elegance Brand and DEMONxBUNNY just can’t stay away from each other. Rosemary and Allie took the Knockouts Tag Titles from Heather and M, and now they collide again in tournament action. Allie lost to Heather last week, so Rosemary is out for a little revenge.

Rosemary fakes a mist shot off the top and uses the distraction to jump M at the bell. She bites and pounds away in the corner, then snaps on a bridging crossface, but M refuses to quit. Rosemary keeps the pressure on until Heather trips her behind the referee’s back.

M takes over, bouncing Rosemary’s head off the buckle and driving shoulders into the midsection. She covers, but Rosemary kicks out at two. M hits a dropkick out of a rollup attempt and throws Rosemary into the corner, but Rosemary drops low and hooks on the tarantula over the ropes. Out of that, M fires back with another dropkick for two and clamps on a headlock until Rosemary elbows free.

M gets cocky, throwing cheap shots, but Allie trips her under the ropes. Rosemary capitalizes with a clothesline and a sling blade. She launches M with a belly‑to‑belly and sends her spilling outside. Heather tries to interfere again, but Allie wipes her out.

With the distraction in play, M manages to catch Rosemary off guard and rolls her up, stealing the win and advancing in the tournament.

Winner: M by Elegance

The System — Backstage Promo

The System say last week wasn’t their night, but they’re still the best in TNA. Bronson warns Sosa that he’s pissed off one of the most violent wrestlers in the world and he might just kill him tonight. Cedric Alexander promises he’ll retain against Fabian Aichner. Same message as always — you can’t beat The System.

Moose vs. AJ Francis

Frankie Kazarian joins commentary, since his stirring of the pot last week set this match up.

Francis jumps Moose from behind before the bell. He throws Moose into the corner and the match starts officially. They trade big‑man shots, bumping into each other and taking the fight outside. Moose sends Francis into the steel steps and tries a powerbomb, but Expressions distract him, letting Francis hit a pop‑up powerbomb on the apron — the moosiest part of the ring. Francis tosses Moose back in and covers, but Moose kicks out at two.

Moose crawls to the corner and Francis drills him with a running knee. Francis calls for the chokeslam but takes too long, and Moose blasts him with a headbutt. Moose leaps, but Francis spears him out of the air for another two count.

Francis mugs for the camera, giving Moose time to grab him off the top rope for a ring‑shaking superplex. Moose covers, but Francis somehow kicks out. Kazarian calls them “studs.”

Moose clotheslines Francis to the floor, then smacks the popcorn out of Kazarian’s hands. Kazarian snaps, pulls Moose from the ring, and bounces his head off the post. The ref calls for the bell as Francis continues beating down Moose.

Winner: Moose (via DQ)

Elayna Black — Backstage

Elayna Black cuts a promo backstage, saying she’s going to beat Wendy Choo next week and move on in the Knockouts TV Title Tournament. Xia Brookside wanders into frame and, completely unprompted, tells Black to stay in her lane and watch her mouth. Black fires back that she’s better than Brookside, then walks off.

State of The Order 4 — Mustafa Ali

Mustafa Ali steps away from his phone calls to deliver a State of The Order 4 Address. He says Order 4 should be the most dominant faction in TNA. They should have all the gold — but apparently he’s the only one who got the memo. Ali says he’s given every member everything, and all they’ve given him in return are problems. They’re comfortable with failure, and Order 4 needs help getting their heads out of their “backside regions.”

Ali introduces the newest member of Order 4 — the new Secretary of Strategic Affairs, Mila Moore. Tasha Steelz and the Great Hands look unimpressed, especially Tasha.

Moore thanks Ali for the job and says there’s a lot of work to do, and in Ali she trusts. Ali takes the mic back and says the next step is determining the next #1 contender for the International Title. He proposes an “International Vote,” giving the TNA locker room the chance to choose who should challenge him.

Ali welcomes Moore to Order 4, and the address ends.

– In the TNA Injury Report, TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth reminded everyone that he set a personal best chin up record and is still in great shape.

– Back from break, a vignette for The Righteous played. Dutch and Vincent picked up a leather satchel. They opened it up and it was a hologram from the Broken Hardys inviting them to the Hardy Compound for “Righteous Deletion!”

Ricky Sosa vs. Bear Bronson

The System tried recruiting Ricky Sosa a couple of weeks ago, but he told them “nah mate,” which led to last week’s tag match where Sosa and Leon Slater beat Bronson and Brian Myers. Myers joins commentary for this one.

The bell rings and Sosa immediately sends Bronson into the corner. Bronson fires back with chops and they trade shots until Sosa dodges a corner charge. Sosa rushes in, but Bronson slides out to the floor. Sosa follows — and gets planted with a Black Hole Slam on the outside.

Bronson throws Sosa back in and mocks Sosa’s entrance dance. That fires Sosa up, and he throws strikes. He tries a sunset flip, but Bronson drops down and crushes him for a two count. Bronson suplexes Sosa, then heads up top for an elbow drop. Sosa kicks out. Bronson clamps on a waistlock, Sosa elbows free, but Bronson levels him with a lariat and a senton. Bronson tries another suplex, but Sosa blocks and counters with a twisting suplex.

Back from break, both men are throwing bombs mid‑ring. Sosa strings together quick kicks and hits a German suplex to build momentum. He nails Bronson with a Spanish (Sosa) Fly, but only gets two.

Sosa climbs up top, Bronson meets him. Sosa fires kicks, including a single‑leg dropkick, but Bronson won’t stay down. Bronson bails outside, and Sosa dives over the ropes onto him.

Myers decides to interfere, buying Bronson time. Sosa comes off the ropes and gets caught with a choke bomb for two. Bronson drops the straps and hoists Sosa on his shoulder, but Sosa slips out and knocks Myers off the apron.

Sosa misses a Blue Thunder Bang, and Bronson counters with the Bear Down to score the win.

Winner: Bear Bronson

Moose & Elijah — Backstage

Moose finds Elijah backstage and tells him he wants backup next week to take out AJ Francis. Elijah is more than happy to sign on. The match is set: Moose and Elijah vs. AJ Francis and Frankie Kazarian next week.

Knockouts Television Championship Tournament Match: Harley Hudson vs. Thea Hail

Thea Hail becomes the first NXT wrestler to appear in the tournament, giving the bracket an extra boost of prestige. The winner moves on to face former NXT star Indi Hartwell.

They start with waistlocks until Hail knocks Hudson down with a shoulder and follows with an armdrag. Hudson counters with a headscissors and drops a leg on Hail’s arm. Hail tries a casadora, but Hudson turns it into a front slam for two. Hudson keeps targeting the arm, twisting and pulling before throwing Hail with a fallaway slam.

Hail fires back with a boot to the face but misses a clothesline, letting Hudson hit one of her own. Hail tries a backslide for two. Hail lands a big knee, Hudson answers with a right hand. Hail catches Hudson with a headbutt and back elbow, then nails a suplex.

Hudson tries to overpower Hail but gets rolled up for two. Hudson hits a neckbreaker, but Hail kicks out. Hail responds with a tornado DDT and a front slam. Hudson goes for a leg drop, Hail dodges, and throws herself backward onto Hudson, scoring the pin and advancing.

Winner: Thea Hail

TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth — In‑Ring

Nic Nemeth makes his way to the ring, still riding the emotional fallout from last week when he told KC Navarro to leave him alone and ended their friendship. Nemeth borrows a phrase from the ’90s and says he’s the best thing going today. He knows everyone wants a piece of him, and he’s about to lay out the challenge when KC Navarro interrupts.

Nemeth tells Navarro to go away — this is where the big players work. Navarro tries to talk to him, but Nemeth shuts him down and orders him out of the ring. Navarro sadly does as told.

Nemeth continues, saying he doesn’t care who the next challenger is. Navarro interrupts again, this time with fire. He says sometimes you get nothing no matter how much you give. He runs through his recent losses and says Nemeth holds the one thing that would prove everyone wrong about him — the World Title.

Navarro says he’d feel better about life if he kicked Nemeth’s ass and took that title. He challenges Nemeth for the championship next week.

Nemeth says it “sounds cool, but…” Navarro has to promise that after he loses, he’ll leave Nemeth alone forever. If he agrees, he gets his match.

TNA X‑Division Championship Match: Cedric Alexander (c) vs. Fabian Aichner

Main event time. Aichner earned this shot by winning last week’s scramble, and Alexander is coming off his Ultimate X retention at Slammiversary — making this his first singles defense since taking the title from Leon Slater.

The bell rings and Aichner sets a heavy tone, driving Alexander into the corner. After a reset, Aichner hits a quick takedown into an arm lock. Alexander tries tipping him over but can’t break it, scrambling to the ropes instead.

They throw everything at each other early, neither gaining control. Aichner strings together a senton‑into‑moonsault combo. Alexander bails outside, Aichner follows, bouncing his head off the apron and chopping him around ringside. Aichner grabs an A‑Game drink, takes a sip, dumps it on Alexander, and tosses him back in.

Aichner goes for a springboard but slips on the top rope, crashing hard. Alexander pounces with a spinebuster and a suplex on the apron, then rolls in and tries to steal a countout. Aichner beats the count at seven, but Alexander chops him against the ropes, drives a knee into the gut, and locks in an abdominal stretch as we head to commercial.

Back from break, Alexander hits a German suplex for two. He chops Aichner in the corner, but Aichner hulks up and demands more. Alexander obliges, but Aichner fires back and hits a top‑rope DDT that sends Alexander to the floor. Aichner follows with a crossbody off the ringpost, then a springboard moonsault inside the ring for two.

Aichner hoists Alexander for a powerbomb, but Alexander counters with a Michinoku Driver. Alexander hits a brainbuster — Aichner still kicks out. Alexander starts kicking him down, screaming at him, but Aichner fires up and blasts him with a lariat. Aichner sets Alexander on the top rope, Alexander fights him off and leaps, but Aichner meets him mid‑air with a dropkick.

Aichner finally plants Alexander with the powerbomb, but Alexander gets his foot on the bottom rope. Alexander pokes Aichner in the eyes and sends him outside — just in time for Eddie Edwards to sprint in and hit a Boston Knee Party before disappearing under the ring.

Alexander drags Aichner back inside, hits the Lumbar Check, and gets the three to retain the X‑Division Title.

Winner: Cedric Alexander (still X‑Division Champion)

After the bell, Edwards and Alexander beat down Aichner until Ricky Sosa runs in for the save. Sosa gets overwhelmed by the numbers, but Leon Slater isn’t far behind. Slater, Sosa, and Aichner finally clear the ring, sending Alexander and Edwards running as iMPACT goes off the air.
