Jack Perry AEW contract status is drawing attention as his current deal with All Elite Wrestling is set to expire soon, and there is still no confirmed agreement in place for a renewal.
According to Bryan Alvarez, Perry has not re-signed with AEW as of now, despite ongoing discussions that were first reported in June. His contract is said to be up “very shortly,” although the exact expiration date has not been disclosed. The situation leaves his future with the company uncertain as negotiations continue.
“As of today, Jack Perry still has not re-signed with AEW and his contract is up very shortly,” Alvarez stated.
Jack Perry AEW contract status update
The timing of this situation is notable, as Perry remains an established name within AEW. Since joining the company in its early days, he has built a consistent presence on television and across multiple divisions. Over the years, Perry has captured several titles, including the AEW World Tag Team Championship, TNT Championship, and National Championship, highlighting his versatility as a performer.
AEW President Tony Khan addressed Perry’s status during a media call ahead of Forbidden Door 2026. Khan spoke positively about Perry and made it clear that he would like to keep him with the company long-term. While no deal has been finalized, Khan’s comments indicate that AEW values Perry’s role on the roster.
Perry’s most recent in-ring appearance came on the June 24 episode of Dynamite, where he faced Zack Sabre Jr. in a singles match. Despite coming up short in that bout, Perry continues to be featured in meaningful matches, which adds another layer of interest to his contract situation.
As negotiations remain ongoing, there has been no official confirmation regarding whether Perry will stay with AEW or explore other options once his deal expires. For now, his status remains unresolved, with both sides reportedly still in talks.
