AEW is facing challenges at the box office ahead of its Redemption pay-per-view, with ticket sales still below expectations just hours before the show in Montreal.
According to WrestleTix, 6,812 tickets have been distributed for the July 26 event at the Bell Centre. While that number reflects an increase from 6,357 tickets reported days earlier, AEW remains under the 7,000 mark heading into showtime.
AEW Redemption Ticket Sales Fall Short of Recent Benchmarks
The current figures highlight a noticeable gap when compared to recent WWE events held at the same venue. WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event earlier this year drew 11,425 fans, while WWE SmackDown brought in 10,248 attendees the night before. Another SmackDown event in 2025 reached 13,987 fans, and a 2024 episode of WWE RAW attracted 12,709.
AEW has also struggled historically at the Bell Centre. A December 2023 episode of Dynamite distributed 4,994 tickets, while a Collision taping the night prior drew 2,852.
By comparison, the venue’s largest modern wrestling crowd came during WWE Elimination Chamber 2023, which drew 14,651 fans, with SmackDown the night before attracting 14,029.
Late Sales Push Needed in Montreal
Despite the slower ticket movement, AEW still has a limited window to improve attendance through last-minute purchases. The cheapest available ticket is currently listed at $53.25 Canadian, making entry relatively accessible for fans considering attending.
With Redemption set to begin shortly, the final attendance number will depend heavily on walk-up sales. For now, AEW continues to push toward the 7,000 mark as it prepares for one of its key events of the summer.
