Triple H has made it clear that WWE sees a very bright future for Oba Femi, offering one of the strongest endorsements possible for the rising star. During a recent appearance on Stephen A. Smith’s YouTube channel, the WWE Chief Content Officer spoke about the importance of building the next generation of talent and identified several names expected to lead the company in the years ahead.
While discussing the transition period as established stars near the end of their in-ring careers, Triple H pointed to the need for younger talent to be ready to step up. With names like John Cena and AJ Styles moving closer to retirement, WWE is focused on maintaining a strong pipeline of performers who can take over at the top level.
“You always have to be thinking about the future and Jerry is correct. It’s about hiring youth and putting youth around you and keeping yourself young in that sense as a brand as you see the John Cena’s retiring, AJ Styles retiring as you see some of these talent at the peak of their careers you have to have those young talent underneath them.”
Oba Femi WWE future
Triple H then shifted the focus directly to Oba Femi and delivered a statement that stood out above the rest. His words made it clear that WWE views Femi as a potential top-tier name, not just another prospect developing in the system.
“And when you see this new crop of talent Oba Femi is going to be as big as anybody has ever been in this business.”
That level of praise is rare, especially from the person overseeing WWE creative. Triple H did not limit his comments to one name, as he also mentioned several other talents he believes will play key roles going forward.
“Solo Sikoa has an opportunity to be a standout star. Giovanni Evans is one of the young guys. He reminds me of a young Jeff Hardy that just has this incredible move set but just has an energy and a youth about him that you can’t look away from him.”
Triple H also highlighted Trick Williams, pointing to his presence and charisma as major strengths that could carry him to the top of the industry.
“You know, Trick is just the personality plus that you know, again, he’s another guy you can’t look away from.”
He closed by reinforcing his confidence in this group, stating that these talents are expected to headline WWE’s biggest shows in the near future.
“These are the young talent that are going to take WWE into the future. So, you know, you’re seeing them rise now but two three years from now, four years from now, these are going to be the main events of WrestleMania. I promise you.”
Triple H’s comments leave little doubt about how highly WWE rates Oba Femi. With such a strong public endorsement, attention will now turn to how quickly he can rise through the ranks and reach that projected level.
