ESPN Rolls Out Major Coverage for WWE Wrestlepalooza – ESPN is rolling out a major promotional push for WWE Wrestlepalooza 2025, the first-ever Premium Live Event under the Wrestlepalooza banner. The show will be held at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Saturday, September 20, 2025.
The coverage begins Thursday, September 19, with a Wrestlepalooza Special at 3 p.m. ET on ESPN2, with multiple encore airings across ESPN2 and ESPN News. On Friday, September 20, the network will air Road to Wrestlepalooza at 4 p.m. ET, providing storyline recaps and exclusive interviews with WWE stars.
For the first time, Wrestlepalooza will stream live in the U.S. on ESPN’s direct-to-consumer service following WWE’s move away from Peacock earlier this year. The live broadcast begins with the kickoff show at 7 p.m. ET. ESPN Unlimited will provide a Spanish-language stream and carry the Wrestlepalooza Post Show immediately following the event.
The confirmed Wrestlepalooza match card currently features:
- IYO SKY vs. Stephanie Vaquer — Singles match for the Vacant WWE Women’s World Championship
- The Usos (Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso) vs. The Vision (Bronson Reed & Bron Breakker) — Tag Team Match
- CM Punk & AJ Lee vs. Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch — Mixed Tag Team Match
- John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar — Singles Match Main Event
This event not only represents WWE’s first Premium Live Event on ESPN platforms in the United States but also highlights the growing partnership between WWE and ESPN. The deal, announced earlier this year, includes live streaming of premium events on ESPN Unlimited and expanded WWE coverage across ESPN’s television, radio, and digital outlets.
Wrestlepalooza is also tied to a long-term agreement between WWE and the Indiana Sports Corp, ensuring Indianapolis hosts future major WWE shows in the years ahead.
