The Kabuki Warriors Reunite on RAW – The July 7 episode of WWE RAW featured a surprise outcome and a major development in the Women’s Tag Team Division heading into WWE Evolution.
In a one-on-one match, Kairi Sane unexpectedly defeated Roxanne Perez. Following the bout, chaos erupted in the ring. Raquel Rodriguez stormed in and immediately targeted Sane, landing a big boot. Perez joined to attack the former NXT Women’s Champion.
However, the tide quickly turned with the arrival of Asuka. The Empress of Tomorrow stormed to the ring and unloaded on both Perez and Rodriguez. She delivered a rapid series of strikes, including a back fist to Perez and a flurry of offense on Raquel. Rodriguez attempted to hit her signature Tejana Bomb, but Sane countered with a dropkick, allowing Asuka to lock in a triangle hold and then knock Rodriguez off the apron.
The segment ended with Asuka holding Perez in place while Kairi delivered a flying elbow drop from the top rope, showcasing their renewed chemistry.
Later in the show, Asuka and Kairi appeared together in a backstage segment with Adam Pearce. Pearce officially confirmed that the duo has reunited and will serve as the RAW representatives in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match at WWE Evolution on July 13.
Asuka and Sane were formerly known as The Kabuki Warriors, and their reunion marks the return of one of WWE’s most dominant and beloved women’s tag teams. Their addition to the Evolution title match significantly raises the stakes heading into the all-women’s premium live event this weekend.
