Intercontinental Title Match Set for WWE Clash At The Castle

Intercontinental Title Match Set for WWE Clash At The Castle – On the June 3 episode of Raw, Sami Zayn came to the ring to discuss his reign as Intercontinental Champion and how Chad Gable’s antics have prevented him from enjoying it. However, before Zayn could continue, Alpha Academy members Maxxine Dupri, Otis, and Akira Tozawa interrupted him.

Dupri read a statement from Gable, expressing his disappointment in the group and labeling them as failures. She concluded the statement by announcing Gable’s desire for another shot at Zayn’s title.

Zayn agreed to defend his title against Gable, hoping it would put an end to Gable’s bullying. However, as Zayn set down his title, Gable attacked him from behind. Gable then ordered Otis to hit Zayn, but Otis refused, prompting Gable to slap him again.

The tension escalated as Dupri and Tozawa stood on the apron, seemingly protesting Gable’s actions. Zayn managed to recover and launched Gable into Dupri and Tozawa, causing them to fall to the floor. Fueled by rage, Otis attacked Zayn before exiting the ring. The segment ended with Gable celebrating in the ring with the Intercontinental Championship in hand.
