Sammy Guevara Seemingly Addresses AEW Suspension – Sammy Guevara recently shared a message on his vlog amid his ongoing suspension from AEW.
In the conclusion of his latest vlog, Guevara opted for a text-only message. Although he didn’t directly address the suspension, his words revolved around the theme of acknowledging mistakes and striving for personal growth. He wrote:
Thanks for watching. And to the people who support me whether it be from the beginning or in the middle or maybe this is your first video you’ve watched of mine, I just wanted to say thank you.
I understand that I am a person who has made mistakes but I am also a person who has tried to be better. “Roll with the punches” is a saying that I truly understand now at 30 years old. Life will throw a lot at you.
But it is how you deal with those adversities that make you who you are. I know who I am and I know what I’m going after.
See you at the top.
Guevara’s suspension stemmed from an incident during a match against Jeff Hardy, taped on February 14 for AEW Rampage. In the match, Hardy sustained a broken nose after Guevara’s knee inadvertently collided with his face during a shooting star press. Despite the injury, the match continued, with Guevara ultimately executing his “Go to Hell” finisher on Hardy, contrary to concussion protocol.
