AEW Dynasty to Air on Thriller TV – TrillerTV has made a significant announcement regarding the upcoming AEW Dynasty event, revealing that the event will be broadcast live on their platform in North America, including the United States. This marks a departure from the previous exclusive streaming arrangement with Bleacher Report for AEW pay-per-view events in the market, while Triller previously held international rights. AEW also continues to offer its shows at select locations and through traditional pay-per-view providers via cable.
TrillerTV, formerly known as FITE, stepped in to broadcast the Revolution PPV after fans encountered issues with ordering and accessing the show on Bleacher Report.
The inaugural AEW Dynasty event is scheduled to take place at Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, MO, on Sunday, April 21. The promotion has been expanding its event schedule each year, with more events on the horizon.
Currently, the only confirmed match for the show is Bryan Danielson vs. Will Ospreay. However, additional matches are expected to be announced soon. Based on recent teases on AEW television, potential matches include AEW World Heavyweight Champion Samoa Joe vs. Swerve Strickland, Kazuchika Okada vs. Pac for the Continental Title, Mercedes Mone vs. TBS Champion Julia Hart or Willow Nightingale, Toni Storm defending the Women’s Title against Thunder Rosa, and The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn vs. Jay White & Gunn Brothers for the Trios Title.
