NXT Vengeance Day 2024 Results – The cold open video package, with a strong Valentine’s Day theme and feel to it, gets us started and then we shoot inside the F&M Bank Arena in Clarksville, TN. where fireworks and pyro explode as the commentators welcome us to the show. We then head down to the ring for our opening contest.
Dusty Rhodes Tag-Team Classic Tournament Finals
Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin vs. Trick Williams & Carmelo Hayes
Bron and Hayes start things off. They lock up and Bron backs Hayes into the corner and Hayes escapes. They lock up and Bron with a side head lock. Bron with a shoulder tackle and Trick tags in. They lock up and Bron with a side head lock. Bron with a shoulder tackle. Baron tags in and Trick with a drop kick. All four men get in the ring and they pair off with Hayes and Williams sending Baron and Bron to the floor. Trick with a punch and uppercut to Baron followed by a snap neck breaker for a near fall. Baron with a kick to the chest and the knee. Hayes tags in and he punches Baron. Hayes with a thrust kick and a punch. Hayes with chops and punches. Hayes gets Baron up but Baron gets to his feet. Hayes lands on his feet on a Death Valley Driver attempt. Baron goes into the ring post when Hayes moves. Hayes with Fade Away. Trick with a pop up punch to Bron but Barton with a Death Valley Driver to Trick. Hayes with a springboard clothesline to Baron but Bron with a release exploder into a cutter.
Bron with punches. Bron with a shoulder tackle and Baron tags in and connects with a clothesline. Baron blocks a kick and kicks Hayes in the hamstring. Baron with a hard Irish whip. Baron with a punch and he tags Bron back in. Bron with a punch while Baron holds Hayes. Hayes with a chop and forearms. Bron with a side head lock and Bron with a clothesline for a near fall. Bron with a suplex and he does some push ups. Baron tags in and he kicks Hayes and stands on the midsection. Hayes with a sunset flip for a near fall. Corbin with a shoulder tackle. Bron tags in and Baron tosses Hayes into a power slam from Bron for a near fall. Hayes with punches to Bron but Bron keeps Hayes from making the tag. Hayes with punches but Bron continues to keep Hayes away from Trick. Hayes leaps into the corner but Bron catches him.
Hayes kicks Bron away and tags in Trick. Corbin tags in and Trick with jumping side kicks to both men followed by punches and uppercut to Baron. Trick with a flying clothesline to Bron and a flapjack to Baron. Trick limps before hitting a uranage on Baron for a near fall. Hayes with a springboard clothesline for a near fall. Baron blocks a suplex from Hayes and Baron gets Hayes up but Hayes gets to his feet. Bron tags in and Hayes a kick. Corbin tries for Deep Six but Hayes escpes and Trick pulls down the ropes. Trick with a cross body off the apron onto Baron while Hayes hits First 48 for a near fall on Bron. Hayes says something to Trick before tagging him in. Bron presses Hayes and sends him to Trick. Bron with a German Suplex that sends both to the floor. Baron tags in and Bron tosses Baron over the top rope onto Trick and Hayes.
Baron with Deep Six to Hayes and Trick and Baron gets a near fall on Trick. Bron tags back in and he kicks Trick to the floor. Bron goes up top and he hits a swanton onto Hayes and Trick. Bron sends Hayes and Trick back into the ring and Baron comes in as well. Bron and Baron put Trick and Hayes on the turnbuckles. Trick punches Baron and Baron is crotched on the top rope. Hayes sends Bron to the mat. Hayes goes for Nothin But Net but Baron catches Hayes. Trick with a neck breaker to Baron. Bron with a spear to Hayes that sends Trick to the floor and Bron gets the three count.
Winners: Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin
After the match, Baron and Bron hold up their trophy.
No Disqualification Match
Djiak vs. Joe Gacy
Dijak pulls out a nightstick and Gacy pulls out a weapon of his own. Dijak with forearms and a clothesline. Dijak with a release suplex and he gets a near fall while still wearing his jacket. Gacy sends Dijak to the floor and Gacy with a suicide dive. Gacy gets a trash can and throws it into the ring. He does the same with some chairs. The crowd wants their tables but Gacy throws another trash can and duct tape into the ring. Dijak sends Gacy into the ring steps and Dijak sets a chair down next to the ring. Gacy avoids being sent into the steps and Gacy send Dijak into the steps. Gacy puts Dijak in the chair and Gacy with chops. Gacy with a cannonball off the ring steps into Dijak on the chair. Gacy pulls out a table and he sets it up on the floor. Gacy with a punch and kick. Gacy pushes Dijak into the ring steps. Gacy gets a milk crate full of toys and he puts a few on the table. Gacy pours the rest on the table an he gets Dijak up. Dijak with elbows to escape and he hits a cyclone kick.
Dijak gets a near fall when they return to the ring. Diajk with punches and he gets Gacy up for a Death Valley Driver and Dijak gets a near fall. Dijak puts the trash can over Gacy’s head and Dijak kicks the trash can. Dijak with more kicks to the trash can followed by an elbow drop onto the trash can. Dijak reminds Gacy that he told him to stay down. Gacy hits Dijak with the trash can on his head and both men are down. Gacy with punches and head butts. Gacy with a Saito suplex and follows with a uranage for a near fall. Gacy sends Dijak into the turnbuckles and hits a splash. Gacy sends Dijak to the apron and Dijak with a forearm. Gacy pushes Dijak off the apron and Dijak goes thorugh the table on the floor. Gacy is hit with a sit out choke slam onto a chair for a near fall. Dijak puts another trash can over Gacy’s head. Dijak goes to the turnbuckles but Gacy stops Dijak and he hits a German superplex for a near fall.
Gacy grabs the duct tape and he puts it over Dijak’s eyes. Gacy goes under the ring and gets kendo sticks and he hits Dijak with them. Gacy goes for the handspring clothesline but Dijak avoids it and he hits Feast Your Eyes but Dijak’s eyes are still covered with tape. Dijak pulls the tape off his face. Gacy hangs in the corner and Gacy hits a DDT on the chair. Gacy goes up top and he hits a frog splash for a near fall. Gacy sets for the handspring clothesline but Dijak hits Gacy with the nightstick and then he hits Feast Your Eyes for the three count.
Winner: Dijak
– We go to the Chase U calendar sale with Kelly Kincaid and Jacy mentions that Thea and Jasmine are signing and Karmen is also here. Jacy says the calendars will be available on WWEShop. Jacy says it is a matter of time that Chase U will be out of debt.
The Family (Tony D’Angelo, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo & Adriana Rizzo) vs. OTM (Bronco Nima, Lucien Price & Jaida Parker)
Tony, Channing, and Rizzo attack before the bell and the match starts with the women. Rizzo with punches. Parker with an Irish whip and Parker with forearms across the midsection and a double jump seated splash. Rizzo with a Thesz Press and she punches Parker. Nima tags in and Tony enters the match. Price hits Tony and connects with a forearm. Nima tags in again. Nima with a leaping stomp to the chest. Channing tags in and he hits a drop kick on Nima followed by a slam by Tony. Channing gets a near fall. Channing with a punch and knee drop. Tony tags in and he punches Nima. Channing does the same to Price and then Rizzo does the same to Parker. Tony, Channing, and Rizzo with kicks in the corner. Channing with a back senton to Price in the corner. Rizzo punches Parker and Tony hip tosses Rizzo into Parker in the corner. Tony with a cannonball to Nima. Tony gets a near fall.
Channing tags in and he punches Nima. Nima sends Channing to the apron and SCRYPTS tries to interfere. That allows Parker to knock Channing off the apron to the floor. Price and Channing fight on the apron and Price with a DDT on the apron. Price with a sleeper. Nima tags in and they connect with forearms in the corner. Channing with punches but Nima with knees to the midsection. Nima sends Channing face first into the mat. Price tags in and Channing with punches and elbows to try to get out of the table. Price catches Channing to keep him from making the tag. Price with punches and he send Channing to teh floor. SCRYPTS gets in a shot on Channing and Price gets a near fall. Nima tags in and he punches Channing. Price tags back in. Price gets a near fall and Tony is sent to the floor.
Parker with a baseball slide to Rizzo. Price and Nima with an assisted power slam for a near fall. Nima with a head lock and Nima with a knee to the midsection. Price tags in and Tony tags in and he hits a few clotheslines followed by belly-to-belly suplexes to both men. Tony with a butterfly suplex to Nima and a spinebuster to Price. Parker gets in the ring and she slaps Tony. Rizzo takes Parker down and Tony with a clothesline to send Nima over the top rope to the floor. Tony hip tosses Channing onto Nima and Price. Rizzo goes up top and she hits a cross body on everyone. SCRYPTS tries to interfere and Tony punches him as SCRYPTS comes off the steps. Tony with a spinebuster to Price followed by a fisherman’s buster for the three count.

Backstage:
We to Izzi Dame and Kiana James to talk about the women’s division. Kiana says the winner of the women’s title match is their new target. Kiana says they need to future proof NXT and at the top of the list is Kelani Jordan. Kiana tells Izzi to do whatever she needs to do.
Backstage:
We see Trick and Carmelo in the trainer’s room and Trick says he will be fine. Trick wants to know why Hayes took that spear. Hayes says if Trick took that spear, it benefits Ilja. Hayes tells Trick he needs to slay the Mad Dragon and win the title. Trick appreciates Melo for having his back. Hayes says he will let Trick do it by himself. Trick says he wants Hayes by his side when he wins the title.
NXT Women’s Championship Match
Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Roxanne Perez
They lock up and Perez with a waist lock and Lyra with a standing switch. Lyra with a waist lock take down but Perez with a front face lock. Lyra with a front face lock but Perez with a reversal. Lyra with a single leg but Perez escapes and Lyra with a cartwheel when Perez escapes. They go to a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock and Perez with a sunset flip for a near fall. Perez and Lyra alternate near falls. Lyra with a back slide for a near fall. Lyra with a wrist lock. Perez with an arm drag but Lyra holds on to the arm bar. Perez with a springboard arm drag but Lyra holds on. Lyra works on the arm. Perez with a head scissors take down. Lyra with a reversal and Perez with a reversal of her own. Perez with a head lock and Lyra with a head scissors.
They lock up and Perez with a side head lock. Lyra with a shoulder tackle and Perez with a side head lock. Perez with a take down. Perez uses the ropes and then hits a satellite head scissors. Lyra stops a suicide dive by Perez with a forearm. Lyra with a drop kick through the ropes. Lyra goes up top and Perez moves. Perez with a Thesz Press and punches. Perez sends Lyra into the turnbuckles. Perez with forearms but Lyra with kicks. Perez with a side Russian leg sweep followed by a double jump moonsault for a near fall. Perez with a running uppercut into the corner followed by a punch. Lyra gets her boots up when Perez charges into the corner. Lyra with a delayed suplex for a near fall. Perez counters a fisherman’s suplex with an inside cradle for a near fall. Perez has a back heel kick blocked and Lyra hits a leg trapped German suplex.
Lyra sets for a superplex but Perez blocks it and goes to the apron. Lyra with a forearm and Perez with chops and forearms. Perez with a rana off the turnbuckles followed by Pop Rox.
Lola Vice comes out with the contract and Tatum Paxley tries to stop her. Lola gives the contract and Perez throws a fit.
Lola with a back heel kick to Lyra and Perez with a rollup for a near fall. Lola with a rollup on Perez for a near fall. Lola escapes Pop Rox and Lola with a rear naked choke. Perez tries to escape and she hits the ropes and gets a near fall when she falls back. Lola with a swinging kick for a near fall. Lola with a triangle on Perez. Lyra with a frog splash onto Lola for a near fall. Lyra and Perez exchange forearms. Lyra with an enzuigiri. Lola with kicks to Lyra, including Speedball kicks. Perez with a forearm to Lola followed by an uppercut. Lola with a forearm and Speedball kicks to Perez. Lola with a running hip to Perez and then one to Lyra. Lola misses a hip in the corner and Perez with a kick. Perez with a kick to Lyra and she hits a side Russian leg sweep on Lola while hitting a DDT on Lyra. Perez with a suicide dive to Lola and then to Lyra on the other side of the ring.
Perez goes up top and hits a cross body on Lyra but Lyra rolls through and she gets Perez on her shoulders and hits Night Wish for a near fall. Lola gets a near fall on Perez. Lyra with kicks to Lola but Lola picks up Lyra. Lyra wit a sunset flip for a near fall. Lola with a back elbow for a near fall. Lola goes for a cross arm breaker but Lyra blocks it. Lyra gets a near fall. Lyra with a spinning back heel kick and Perez gets a near fall on Lyra. Lyra with a knee to Perez. Lyra with an Irish whip and Perez with Pop Rox and Lola sends Tatum into Perez. Tatum and Perez go to the floor. Lyra with Night Wish for the three count.
Winner: Lyra Valkyria
– We go back to the calendar sales and Riley Osborne shows up and he awkwardly asks Thea to be his Valentine and Thea awkwardly accepts.
– We are told that Battleground will be on Memorial Day Weekend. Roadblock will be on March 5th.
NXT North American Championship Match
Oba Femi (c) vs. Dragon Lee
Lee with a drop kick that sends Femi to the floor. Lee with a suicide dive that sends Femi into the announce table. Femi stops a springboard move and pulls Lee face first into the apron. Femi sends Lee into the ring steps. Lee gets to his feet and drop kicks Femi in the leg. Femi sends Lee to the apron and Lee with an enzuigiri. Lee comes off the turnbuckles and Femi catches Lee. Lee gets to his feet and he sends Femi into the turnbuckles. Lee with kicks and he gets a near fall. Lee with a double stomp for a near fall. Lee with a punch and Femi blocks an Iris whip. Femi blocks a wheelbarrow move and Femi with a choke slam.
Femi with kicks. Femi with a suplex and he gets a near fall. Femi with a kick to the back and he chokes Lee in the corner. Femi with a biel followed by a knee to the midsection and an elbow drop. Femi gets a near fall. Lee with a chop and Femi pushes Lee over the top rope to the floor. Lee beats the count back into the ring. Femi with a uranage back breaker and he holds Lee on his knee. Femi with another uranage back breaker. Femi hits a third one and gets a near fall. Lee with a jaw breaker and kick. Lee goes for a tornado DDT but Femi blocks it. Lee with an octopus and he gets Femi off his feet. Femi gets a second wind and he gets back to his feet. Femi tries to get to the ropes and he gets there with his mouth. Lee goes for a sunset flip but Femi pulls Lee up and Femi runs into a boot. Lee with a super kick and an enzuigiri.
Lee with a tornado DDT and he hits a running knee to the head for a near fall. Lee with a drop kick to Femi in the corner followed by a second one. Lee with a hesitation drop kick in the corner. Lee gets a near fall. Lee goes to the turnbuckles and Femi stops him. Lee with an enzuigiri to Femi on the turnbuckles. Lee gets Femi up and hits a sit out power bomb for a near fall. Femi rolls to the floor. Lee goes for the head scissors from the apron to the floor but Femi catches Lee. Lee with a kick and Femi with a chop to the chest and Lee goes down. Femi adjusts the announce table and he goes for a choke slam through the table and Lee blocks it and hits a DDT on the floor. Femi pulls Lee to the floor and hits a uranage into the announcer’s chair. Lee with a rana for a near fall. Femi with a clothesline and Femi with Snake Eyes and he tosses Lee across the ring. Femi with a power bomb for the three count.
Winner: Oba Femi
– Lexis King has a calendar and he comments on Thea’s photo. Riley tells Lexis to stop and Lexis tells Thea to stop worrying about Riley. Riley and Lexis fight.
Backstage:
Kelly is with Ava and Ava says that she is proud of tonight’s show. Kelly asks what is next. Ava mentions Roadblock and Stand and Deliver. Ava talks about the ticket sales. Kelly asks if NXT is going back on the road. Ava mentions Roadblock in May.
Backstage:
We go to Edris and Malik and Malik has his five things he likes for Brinley. He says he only has two dislikes. Axiom and Nathan Frazer show up and Frazer says this won’t help. Frazer says if they faced Edris and Malik last week, they would have gone to Vegeance Day. Brinley suggests a match next week.
– They will meet on NXT. Lexis King faces Riley Osborne. There will be a Dusty Classic Celebration.
– We go tot he back where Roxanne Perez and Lola Vice are fighting. Referees and officials have to come to break things up.
NXT Championship Match
Ilja Dragunov (c) vs. Trick Williams.
Ilja misses a boot and Trick with punches. Ilja with chops. Trick blocks a chop and he slams Ilja. Trick goes for a slam and Ilja escapes and applies a waist lock. Trick with an elbow and he misses a drop kick. Trick with a drop kick. Ilja with an enzugiiri and he goes for Konstantin Special and hits it. Ilja is bleeding from his own nose. Ilja backs Trick into the corner and Ilja with a chop. Ilja with another chop and he sends Trick into the turnbuckles. Ilja with a series of chops and then he resumes with more chops. Ilja with a face wash as Trick bleeds from the mouth. Ilja with a running boot to the head. Ilja with a forearm to the back of the head. Trick with punches. Ilja with a chop. Ilja with a rear chin lock. Ilja with a German suplex. Ilja holds on to the waist lock and he hits another German suplex. Ilja holds on.
Trick powers out of the waist lock but Ilja reapplies the hold. Trick escapes a suplex attempt. Ilja sends Trick to the ropes and he hits a running boot to the head. Trick falls to the floor. Ilja with a German suplex on the floor. Ilja pulls Trick onto the apron and Ilja gets Trick on his shoulders for a Death Valley Driver onto the apron. Hayes picks up Trick and says something to him. Trick gets back into the ring and Ilja with a missile drop kick for a near fall. Ilja with a running clothesline for a near fall. Trick with punches and a slap. Ilja slaps Trick and Ilja follows with forearms. Ilja and Trick go back and forth. Ilja blocks a cyclone kick and he hits a power bomb. Ilja sets for H Bomb but Trick with a round kick to the head. Trick with First 48 and both men are down. Trick with a forearm and Ilja fires back. They go back and forth with Ilja hitting a series of forearms. Trick with a series of jumping side kicks. Trick with a flying clothesline. Trick kicks Ilja. Ilja with a hip toss and a kick. Trick avoids Konstantin Special. Ilja with elbows and Trick with a flying clothesline.
Trick punches Ilja against the ropes. Ilja with chops but Trick with an uppercut that sends Ilja over the top rope to the floor. Ilja runs Trick into the apron. Ilja goes for another Death Valley Driver on the apron but Williams blocks it and hits a uranage off the apron to the floor. Ilja with a knee and he sends Trick’s head into the apron. Hayes says something to Ilja and Ilja pushes Hayes. Ilja with a forearm and Hayes falls into the back of Trick’s leg. Ilja sends Trick back into the ring. Ilja sets for a power bomb but Trick with a back body drop and a neck breaker. Trick with an H Bomb for a near fall. Trick waits for Ilja to get back to his feet and Trick’s knee gives out. Ilja with a power bomb and H Bomb. Ilja pulls Trick into position for an H Bomb from the turnbuckles. Ilja hits H Bomb but Trick kicks out. Ilja sets for Torpedo Moscow but Trick moves and Ilja hits the turnbuckles Trick with a Cyclone Kick for a near fall.
Hayes gets on the apron and Trick misses Ilja but he hits the referee and the referee goes into the turnbuckles. Trick with a knee to Ilja but the referee is out. A second referee comes out and Trick gets a two count. Ilja with a waist lock and Trick with elbows and an arm drag. Ilja with a knee and H Bomb. Ilja goes to the turnbuckles one more time for an H Bomb. Trick gets his knees up and Trick sets for the knee while Ilja sets for Torpedo Moscow. They both hit their move and Ilja falls on top of Trick for the three count.
Winner: Ilja Dragunov
After the match, Hayes tells Trick he was so close but it will always be them. Hayes tells Trick he is his boy.
Out of nowehre, Hayes hits Trick in the back of the leg. Hayes goes to the floor and he gets a chair. Hayes hits Trick in the leg with the top of the chair. Hayes hits Trick in the leg many times with the chair. Hayes hits Trick with the chair again.
Hayes has some words for Trick as we go to credits.
