Eric Young Earns TNA World Title Match At Sacrifice – At TNA No Surrender, Eric Young and Frankie Kazarian continued their rivalry in a high-stakes match where the winner would earn a shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. On his way to the ring, Kazarian debuted a new theme song, as he entered to “Kings of the Asylum ” by Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons. Campbell is the former guitarist of Motorhead.
Kazarian and Young battled back and forth, and they were evenly matched. Young scored a two-count with a diving elbow drop. Kazarian fired back with a slingshot DDT. He dropped Young with a cutter, but Young refused to stay down. Kazarian then spiked Young with the Fade to Black, but Young kicked out again. Young ultimately scored the win with a crucifix pin out of nowhere. As a result, Young earned a world title shot at TNA Sacrifice on March 8.
