Cora Jade Addresses Confirmed Torn ACL Injury – Cora Jade is facing an extended period away from the ring. Following an apparent injury at the NXT live event on January 12, it was reported by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer that Cora Jade had suffered a torn ACL. On the January 16 episode of WWE NXT, the broadcast team confirmed the injury, stating that Jade was expected to be out of action for nearly a year.
In response to the news, Jade shared her thoughts on the injury in a tweet. She expressed, “It is only after we’ve lost everything that we are free to do anything.”
Jade had recently returned to NXT after a prolonged absence. She took a hiatus from the show on the August 1 episode and made her comeback at NXT Deadline on December 9.
As noted earlier, some people in WWE are questioning the method of training after several stars have been injured.
