The Young Bucks Embark on Creative Shift, Plan Time Off

The Young Bucks Embark on Creative Shift, Plan Time Off – The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) recently experienced a loss at the 2023 AEW Full Gear event against Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho. Following the defeat, the Bucks expressed their frustration by creating chaos at ringside.

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, this is part of a larger creative plan for the Young Bucks, who will be taking a hiatus from AEW.

The aim is for their return to be a significant impact, possibly as antagonistic characters. The duration of their absence from television remains uncertain as this transition into heels is still in its early stages.

Formerly two-time AEW tag team champions, the Young Bucks were gearing up for another title shot following a win at WrestleDream. However, they staked that opportunity against Omega and Jericho, now earning the #1 contender status.

Additionally, the Bucks have recently applied for new trademarks for “KTB Wrestling” and “Superdick Party” in entertainment and merchandise categories.
