Punk expressed his evolution and desire to reaffirm himself as the best in the world, hinting at a potential return of his wife, April, known as AJ Lee. However, despite fan speculation, there have been no discussions about her returning to WWE at present, according to PWInsider. “There has been no discussion of her coming in,” they stated.
AJ Lee’s career in WWE began in 2009 in FCW and NXT before transitioning to the main roster in 2011. During her tenure, she held the Divas Championship three times, boasting a remarkable combined reign of 406 days.
Following her departure from WWE in 2015 due to health reasons, Lee explored other interests, engaging in comic book work and authoring her own biography in 2017. She also briefly participated in the relaunch of WOW Wrestling before parting ways with the promotion.
