Backstage News on QT Marshall’s AEW Resignation

Backstage News on QT Marshall’s AEW Resignation – As noted, QT Marshall announced his departure from All Elite Wrestling on Monday night, noting that he would finish out the year with the promotion before resigning from his position in the company.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that some people knew this was happening for weeks while others knew about it for months, and others didn’t know he was planning to leave.

“I have heard from many people. Some have known for weeks, some have known for months,” Meltzer stated. “People have talked to him. He’s expressed his frustrations. There have been things that have happened.“

Meltzer continued by noting that he thinks there were a lot of things that have been said and that QT wants to be a wrestling star.

“I know he expressed frustration to a lot of people about that feeling he’s had good matches, but he’s not been positioned to be a wrestling star there,” Meltzer stated.

Meltzer added that most people were sympathetic towards him, and a lot of talent were privately, very supportive of QT and understanding his position.
