Tony Khan has confirmed a marquee match for the October 18 edition of AEW Dynamite.
AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida will step into the ring to face her mentor Emi Sakura in an AEW Women’s World Title Eliminator Match. The match is aptly dubbed “Student vs. Teacher” due to the unique connection between the competitors.
Hikaru Shida clinched the championship by defeating Saraya on the October 10 episode of AEW Dynamite.
