Chris Jericho Open to Broadway Offers: ‘I’d Seriously Consider It – Chris Jericho, a multifaceted entertainer with successful careers in wrestling and music, and a track record of appearances in films, is keeping his options open when it comes to his future endeavors.
The versatile star recently appeared in the UPtv movie “Country Hearts” and expressed his willingness to embrace new challenges, including a potential venture into Broadway.
“I never, ever put myself in a box for anything that I do,” Jericho told The Messenger. “I’m an entertainer. If I said I wanted to play center for the L.A. Kings, it’s probably not going to happen. But if I say I want to do Broadway, why not? I can act, I can sing. I understand what it’s like to be in front of a crowd. Anything that’s in that world for me, I’m open to it. I could get an offer to do Broadway tomorrow, and if it came my way, I would seriously consider it. I never thought I’d get an offer to play an ex-rock star father who is now a horse breeding farmer.”
He illustrated his potential in the world of theater with a memorable Broadway-esque performance in the Dinner Debonair segment alongside MJF on the October 21, 2020 episode of AEW Dynamite, hinting at his readiness to explore the realm of Broadway should the opportunity arise.
