Bianca Belair Makes SmackDown Return – “The EST” is back! Bianca Belair made her return on the October 20 episode of WWE SmackDown.
In the main event of the same episode, Charlotte Flair challenged IYO SKY for the WWE Women’s World Championship. This match was significant as it marked Flair’s opportunity for a singles title match after her previous Fastlane bout, which was a triple-threat match also involving SKY and Asuka, where Damage CTRL interfered and caused Flair’s loss.
Flair and SKY engaged in an exciting bout, but Damage CTRL, particularly Bayley, played a decisive role in the outcome. Bayley interfered multiple times during the match, even saving SKY by placing her foot on the ropes after Flair executed a Spear. “The Queen” then confronted Bayley outside the ring, allowing SKY to capitalize on the distraction and hit Flair with her championship belt. SKY secured the victory by pinning Flair.
Following the match, IYO SKY and Bayley began attacking Charlotte Flair, leaving her at a clear disadvantage. However, the situation took a turn when Bianca Belair returned to WWE television, ending her absence since August.
Belair swiftly moved in to save Flair and unleashed her signature move, the KOD, on SKY. As Bayley attempted to escape, she, too, fell victim to a KOD by Belair.
Bianca Belair’s hiatus began after the August 18 episode of WWE SmackDown, where she and Flair triumphed over SKY and Bayley. In response to that victory, Damage CTRL subjected Belair to a brutal assault, keeping her out of action for an extended period.
It’s important to note that IYO SKY had captured the Women’s World Championship by cashing in her Money in the Bank contract on Belair shortly after “The EST” had won the title at WWE SummerSlam.
