Zoey Stark Talks Becky Lynch’s Welcoming and Supportive Attitude – Zoey Stark recently shared her experiences of working alongside wrestling legends Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus, shedding light on her current approach to the creative process.
Stark has found herself in a privileged position since joining the main roster, collaborating with two iconic figures, Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch. In an interview with Sean Ross Sapp, conducted prior to WWE SummerSlam, Stark expressed a sense of accomplishment and validation by being entrusted to work with such esteemed performers.
She stated, “It makes me feel good about myself and tells me I’m doing something right. Trish Stratus, I’ve said it, and I’ll say it again, she’s been absolutely amazing. She has been a mentor inside the ring and out. Becky Lynch, just with us as people outside of the ring and the story, Becky is absolutely amazing. She’s a great human being. She’s been so welcoming, and she’s been helping me out along the way.”
Stark also delved into the intricacies of the creative process involved in collaborating with Trish Stratus. In line with their storyline, Stark is adopting a more passive role, allowing the WWE Hall of Famer to take the lead. Stark is keenly observing how Stratus handles the creative aspects, and if she has any ideas, Stratus assists in pitching them. This dynamic approach aids Stark in learning how to navigate such situations effectively.
“Right now, I’m sitting back and just watching how it goes if I have an idea, I go to Trish. So Trish and I will talk it out, and then I just kind of follow her lead to where if she likes the idea, she’ll go and pitch it, but I’m standing right there with her to see, like okay, let me see how she handles this. Yeah, I’m just in the back watching right now.”
Becky Lynch takes on Trish Stratus this weekend at WWE Payback in Pittsburgh in a steel cage match, largely to keep Zoey out of the match.
