Rumor Killer On Ronda Rousey Returning To UFC – Over the last 24 hours, there has been speculation that Ronda Rousey may be considering a UFC return as she wraps up her current run with WWE for now.
UFC fighter Chelsea Chandler recently told MMA Junkie that she heard Rousey was returning as a featherweight.
“I’ve been hearing Ronda is coming back,” Chandler said. “I’ve heard she’s coming back at 145. You never know. … If I got out there and put on the performance I plan on putting (on), I’ll welcome her to 145. I think it would be a great fight. It has been a long time for her, and things change, people get better, and I think people are on to her one-trick-pony armbar. Money talks, and she would bring eyes to the sport again. I feel like her time in WWE is starting to go down, so I’d like to see it.”
Ariel Helwani of MMA Fighting reports there is no truth to Rousey’s rumored return.
Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships to Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez at the WWE Money in the Bank premium live event from the o2 Arena in London, England, as Baszler turned on Rousey, setting up their feud.
As noted, Rousey has a hard-out on her deal with WWE and will be departing from the promotion for now when the feud ends.
