Bryan Danielson Reportedly Working "Banged Up"

Bryan Danielson Reportedly Working “Banged Up”Fightful Select reports that Danielson has been “banged up” as of late, hence his limited in-ring appearances.

The American Dragon’s most recent match was at AEW Double or Nothing 2023 where he competed in the Anarchy in the Arena match. It is reported that some spots in the match were “limited” as a result of Danielson’s condition.

Prior to Double or Nothing, Danielson hadn’t worked a match since the 60-Minute Iron Man match against AEW World Champion MJF that headlined the Revolution pay-per-view in March.

With Danielson wrestling very more sporadically for the time being, the former WWE World Champion has kept his momentum outside of the ring.

Fightful notes that Danielson has been working on commentary for matches involving the Blackpool Combat Club, and he has been mostly avoiding contact in brawls involving the group in that time.

Danielson has also been working behind the scenes with AEW’s creative team in an unspecified role. The 42-year-old wrestler previously worked backstage under a similar role during the latter few years of his run with WWE.
