NXT Title Match Set For NXT Spring Breakin’ – Grayson Waller will get his shot to prove that he belongs at the top of NXT on Tuesday, April 25, at NXT Spring Breakin’.
Grayson Waller earned the opportunity to face Carmelo Hayes for the WWE NXT Championship by winning a Fatal 4-Way match on Tonight’s NXT epsiode.
Waller defeated Dragon Lee, JD McDonagh, and Duke Hudson. Waller pinned Hudson after Dragon Lee did the damage with a Powerbomb.
This will not be Waller’s first time challenging for the NXT Championship as he most recently lost a steel cage match to Bron Breakker at WWE NXT Vengeance Day.
Three matches are set up for the April 18 episode of WWE NXT.
After being challenged by both The Creed Brothers and The Dyad’s Rip Fowler & Jagger Reid, Gallus will once again be putting their NXT Tag Team Championship on the line in a Triple Threat on April 18. This match was solidified following a brawl after Joe Coffey defeated the debuting Tank Ledger.
Also on the line next week is Wes Lee’s NXT North American Championship. Lee never says no to a challenge, and next week he faces the challenge of Charlie Dempsey’s ground game as both men look to prove which fighting style is superior.
Lastly, Roxanne Perez faces Zoey Starks. This follows a backstage confrontation both women had on April 11, where Zoey teased Roxanne about her anxiety issues.
