Three New Matches Announced For Double Or Nothing

During tonight’s AEW Rampage episode, it was revealed that Jade Cargill will defend the TBS Championship against Anna Jay at Double Or Nothing in Las Vegas on May 29.

After Kris Statlander defeated Red Velvet in their Owen Hart Foundation Tournament match on Friday night’s “Rampage”, Cargill and Kiera Hogan got into the ring and helped Velvet attack Statlander. Ruby Soho (who was a guest on commentary) tried to make the save and help Statlander, but The Baddies took her down as well. Anna Jay’s music hits and the Dark Order member ran down to the ring to chase off The Baddies.

Later in the show, Cargill and The Baddies were with Tony Schiavone backstage. Cargill yelled at him to go away. She is furious at Jay for what she had done and says since Jay thinks she can step up to the plate again, at “Double or Nothing” she will give her the beat down that she deserves.

Also, in a backstage segment with the Undisputed Elite, the Young Bucks issued a challenge to the Hardys. Matt and Nick Jackson said that because the Hardys now have a free schedule, they want to hold the dream match at the pay-per-view in Las Vegas on May 29.

The Hardys agreed to the match, and it was later made official for “Double or Nothing”.

In the same segment, Adam Cole said that Kyle O’Reilly has been on fire and he is excited about the possibility of them meeting in the final of the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament. To get there, O’Reilly must defeat Samoa Joe on next Wednesday’s episode of “AEW Dynamite”.

Plus, Death Triangle will finally face House of Black in a trios bout. The trios have been feuding for a few months, though Rey Fenix’s injury in January prevented a full-on rivalry between the two teams. At AEW Revolution, House of Black defeated Pac, Penta Oscuro, and honorary Death Triangle member Erick Rowan. Fenix returned on the April 27 episode of AEW Dynamite and reignited the war.

On the May 20 episode of AEW Rampage, after the House of Black defeated 10, Evil Uno and Fuego Del Sol, Death Triangle came to the stage and revealed a tombstone that had had House of Black and the Double or Nothing logo on it. The broadcast team subsequently confirmed the trios bout for the pay-per-view.
