Another AEW star is suddenly off the roster page on their official website, and that has led to speculation that another contract has expired and will not be renewed.
Dark Order member Stu Grayson is no longer listed on the roster page. AEW typically does not announce releases. In most cases, Tony Khan lets contracts expire rather than let people go early. There is no official word on his status with the company but many of the names that signed in 2019 will have their deals expiring this year. The last time Grayson wrestled was on the 4/20/22 Dark: Elevation show. The last time he appeared on TV was on the 3/30/22 episode of Rampage.
Joey Janela’s deal expired on Sunday and he is now officially a free agent. Marko Stunt’s deal has also quietly expired.
