Britt Baker is in the middle of her first reign as the AEW Women’s Champion and she has defeated some top names in the division thus far.
Baker beat Hikaru Shida to win the title back in May at this year’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view event. This snapped Shida’s reign, which lasted for 372 days.
Although Baker has a ways to go to break this record, she is closing in on an impressive milestone herself as she has held the title for 195 days. Next week, she will surpass 200 days as champion. She is the second-longest reigning champion as Nyla Rose held the title for 101 days while Riho, the inaugural champion, held the strap for 133 days.
Baker’s most recent title defense came against Tay Conti at the November Full Gear pay-per-view event.
