We are live from the WWE Thunderdome at the Amway Center in Orlando, FL, as WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring with Paul Heyman.
Roman asks Paul what do you call this place? The Island of Relativity? Paul says it is because you make it relevant. The numbers don’t lie. You can look at it in the flesh. Look at my cousin Jey Uso. Before, you didn’t which twin was which, but now he is main event Jey Uso. Look at the last two weeks. Two weeks ago, he beat Daniel Bryan. Last week, he destroyed Kevin Owens. He will lead his team to victory at Survivor Series. I will establish my dominance and I will beat WWE’s secondary champion Randy Orton.
When you think about Randy Orton, which I don’t, he is the person whose accomplishments you can respect, but not respect the man himself.
Drew McIntyre’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring while Paul has a shocked look on his face.
Drew says it has been a minute. He asks Paul if he misses him. Drew says he was passing through town and he knows how valuable Roman’s time is. He says he heard Roman talking about Randy Orton. You won’t be meeting Randy at Survivor Series. I am beating Randy Orton at Raw and it will be you versus me at Survivor Series. A lot has changed since the last time we were in the ring together. I was eliminating you at the Royal Rumble the last time we were in the ring together.
Do you remember what happened since then? I made your client my bitch in five minutes at Wrestlemania. Do you remember Wrestlemania? No, you weren’t there. You left us and the fans high and dry. Someone had to stand up and that someone was Drew McIntyre. Drew says it was a priviliege to be on top. You consider it a rite, while I consider it an honor. I am the man and I will prove it at Survivor Series.
Roman tells Drew he likes him and he respects what Drew said. Roman says he is back now and ever since I came back, nobody knows who you are. I don’t watch Raw. It is all good. Nobody watches Raw because everyone watches Smackdown. They all want to watch me. Now that you have failed your audition here, tell us who is Drew McIntyre.
Drew asks Roman if he wants to tell him who Drew McIntyre is. Drew is the man who is going to beat Randy Orton on Raw and go into Survivor Series and I am going to show you.
Jey Uso comes to the ring and he tells Roman he has this.
Jey wants to know what Drew is doing here. This ain’t Monday, it’s Friday night and we run this place. You are being real disrespectful. Daniel and Kevin were disrespectful and I got them. Now I am going to get you. Me and you, one on one tonight. What do you say?
Drew starts to answer and Jey drops the mic. Drew pushes Jey down and then he gets in Roman’s face. Reigns drops his mic as Jey gets back up and stands with him. Reigns, Jey and Heyman exit the ring as Drew looks on and fans boo them. Drew’s music starts back up.
— Still to come, Rey Mysterio vs. Seth Rollins to end their feud. Also, Sami Zayn defends against Apollo Crews. Back to commercial.
— We are back and Roman yells at Jey and tells him he runs this place. He did not tell Jey to come out and do anything. He should not make his own matches. Roman says he handles this.
In the Arena:
Sami Zayn makes his way to the ring. Sami Zayn says he was told at 7PM tonight that he had to defend his Intercontinental Championship tonight. Not against any performer but a former champion, Apollo Crews. You give me one hour’s notice? Tell me that does not reek of sabotage. They are trying to sabotage the champion of the people. Sami says he will make this into an opportunity to show everyone the difference between the Intercontinental Champion and a United States Champion. I had to jump through so many hoops. I had to beat two future hall of famers for a title I never lost.
Apollo Crews vs. Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship
Zayn with punches as he backs Crews into the corner. Sami with a chop and Crews with a body block and clothesline. Crews with a splash into the corner and he presses Sami over his head and sends Sami into the turnbuckles. Sami goes to the floor and Crews brings Sami back into the ring. Sami with a kick and he tries for a suplex but Crews blocks it. Crews with a suplex of his own. Crews with an enzuigiri and then he hits a standing moonsault for a near fall.
Zayn goes to the floor and then he pulls the ring skirt off the apron. Sami sends Crews into the edge of the apron and then Sami puts Crews’ leg in the frame of the apron and ties his leg to keep Crews out of the ring for the ten count.
Winner: Sami Zayn
Backstage:
WWE Producer Adam Pearce is backstage with Drew McIntyre, talking about his contract and how Drew wants a fight tonight against Jey Uso. Pearce will make the fight despite Drew’s RAW contract. Drew gives the OK and Pearce walks off. Drew tells Pearce to tell Roman Reigns to make sure he has a front row seat.
Backstage:
Kayla Braxton is backstage with Rey Mysterio and his whole family. Rey cuts her off and says this isn’t about what Seth Rollins did to him, this is about his family being brought into all of this. Rey goes on and says this will be the final chapter in the rivalry with Rollins. Rey says Rollins calls himself The Messiah but he’s nothing but the devil. Rey says he’s going to send Rollins back to the soul-crushing hell where he belongs tonight, you can bet on that.
— We go back to the ring and out comes SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks as Greg Hamilton does the introduction. Sasha poses on the apron as the pyro goes off. Back to commercial.
— We are back and Drew McIntyre will face Jey Uso in an Unsanctioned Match (so it does not affect the win-loss records or rankings).
In the Arena:
Sasha Banks is in the ring and she tells all of the haters who thought that she could win the title but not retain it, I am standing here as your Smackdown Women’s Champion and damn does it feel good. After the past six months after the highs and lows, it is enough to end anybody but not me. I am on top of my game and the women’s division. All of the women in the back are put on notice.
Sasha says she knows that Carmella is watching in the back. Bayley’s music plays and she makes her way to the ring, but… Sasha turns around into a super kick from Carmella and Carmella gives Sasha an X Factor.
— Otis is eating three plates of food at catering. He sees Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler talking trash about him. They act like they just notice he’s there. Otis is upset now as he flips the table over and just stands there. Back to commercial.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Otis
We go back to the ring and out first comes Dolph Ziggler with Robert Roode. Otis is out next.
Ziggler starts with a slap and some trash talking but Otis responds by leveling him and launching him across the ring. Otis unloads on Ziggler and clubs him into the mat. Otis charges and drops Ziggler to the mat. Otis calls for the Caterpillar but Roode gets on the apron. Otis knocks him off. Ziggler tries to capitalize with the Zig Zag but Otis kicks out at 2.
Ziggler calls for the superkick but Otis catches it. Otis with a powerslam. Otis dances around some and delivers the Caterpillar. Otis climbs to the second rope but here comes Roode on the apron. Otis turns to Roode, forcing him to stop in his tracks and back off. Otis goes back to focusing on Ziggler and hits the big splash for the pin to win.
Winner: Otis
After the match, Otis stands tall as his music hits. Otis dances around to celebrate the quick match.
— Seth Rollins is backstage talking strategy with Murphy. Cole says tonight’s match will be No Holds Barred. Back to commercial.
— We are back and Otis is in the back talking about his victory and Chad Gable says Otis needs to be doing that every week. Chad says that Otis needs discipline and a mentor to unlock his inner Alpha. Chad gives Otis a flyer for the Alpha Academy. Otis likes the idea.
— We get a video package recapping the storyline between Seth Rollins and Rey Mysterio (+ Murphy, Dominik, Aalyiah).
No Holds Barred Match: Rey Mysterio vs. Seth Rollins
We go back to the ring for tonight’s No Holds Barred match as Seth Rollins comes out with Murphy at his side. The Mysterio Family is out next – Rey Mysterio with wife Angie, daughter Aalyah and son Dominik Mysterio. They hit the ring as Murphy and Rollins look on. Back to commercial.
Rey goes for the leg but Seth backs up into teh corner. Rollins runs Rey into the turnbuckles. Rey with punches but Seth wtih a kick. Seth with a sunset flip and Rey rolls through and kicks Seth because you don’t sunset flip Rey Mysterio. Seth goes to the apron and Rey tries to bring him back into the ring but Seth drops Rey on the top rope. Seth gets a chair and makes his way into the ring but Rey kicks Seth in the knee and Seth falls into the ropes. Seth escapes to avoid a 619. Rey sends Seth into the turnbuckles. Seth grabs Rey from the turnbuckles and Rey counters with a tornado DDT on the apron.
Rey pushes Seth into the ringside barrier and then connects with a shoulder to the midsection against the apron. Seth is sent into the ringside barrier again. Rey kicks Seth and hits him in the back with a double sledge. Seth sends Rey into the ring steps. Seth gets Rey on his shoulders and Rey with punches and a sunset flip bomb into the ringside barrier. Rey with kicks to Seth and he returns to the ring. Rey goes for a sliding splash but Seth catches Rey and hits a Falcon Arrow onto the announce table.
Rey is sent face first into the announce table while Buddy watches. Seth sends Rey into the ringside barrier. Seth gets a near fall when they return to the ring. Rollins with an elbow drop to the back. Rollins with a back breaker. Rollins stands on Rey’s head. Rollins with an Irish whip that sends Rey sternum first into the turnbuckles. Seth gets a near fall. Seth puts the chair in the turnbuckles for future use. Seth with a forearm to the back and a punch to the lower back. Rollins gets Rey up and he sets to lawn dart Rey into the chair but Rey escapes and Rollins with a back elbow. Rollins sends Rey into the turnbuckles and misses a splash and hits the turnbuckles. Rey with a springboard seated splash and a head scissors. Rey with a bulldog out of a wheelbarrow position for a near fall.
Rey with shoulders in the corner. Rollins slides Rey under the bottom rope and Rey lands on the floor. The Mysterios move out of the way while Seth picks up the ring steps. Rollins hits Rey in the head with the ring steps. Seth pulls the bottom part of the ring steps closer to Rey. Rollins sets for Black Out on the ring step but Rey moves and Rey sends Seth face first into the ring steps. Rey puts Seth on the steps and he connects with a forearm to the midsection. Rey with a sliding splash onto the steps as we go to commercial.
We are back and Rollins kicks Rey in the back. During the commercial break, a table entered the ring. Rollins sets up the table and Rey kicks Rollins. Rollins iwth a suplex and he holds on and rolls through for a second one. Rollins holds on and sets for a third one through the table but Rey won’t let Rollins do what Eddie did. Rey slides under the table on an Irish whip but Rollins pushes the table into Rey. Rollins kicks Rey. Rollins grabs Rey and goes to the turnbuckles. Rey punches Rollins. Rey with a kick to Rollins and Rey sets for a Frankensteiner through the table but Rollins blocks it and he goes back to the turnbuckles for a power bomb through the table and he hits it.
Rollins gets a near fall. Rollins grabs the chair and he pulls the rubber stopper off one of the legs. Rollins prepares to stab Rey with the chair and Dominik pulls Rollins out of the ring and Rollins with a super kick. Seth tells Buddy to watch the Mysterios. Rey with a Van Mysterioinator. Buddy goes into the ring to pick up Rollins and Murphy has the chair and gives it to Rollins. Buddy holds Rey, but it was a trap and Murphy with a jumping knee. Rollins yells at Murphy and he hangs from the ropes so Rey with a series of 619s and then he goes up top for a Frog Splash for the three count.
Winner: Rey Mysterio
After the match, the music hits as Rey’s family joins him in the ring to celebrate. We go to replays as Murphy watches from the apron. Aalyah goes to greet Murphy but Rey stops her. Rey walks over to Murphy and motions for him to step into the ring. Rey tells Murphy to come in and face him like a man. Rey asks if Murphy is looking for his approval. Here it is. Rey offers his hand as fans cheer. Murphy shakes. Aalyah runs over and hugs Murphy. Murphy walks over to the family and shakes hands with Dominik next. Angie also hugs Murphy. Rey’s music starts back up as Murphy and The Mysterio Family celebrate together.
Backstage:
We see Adam Pearce in the back. Natalya approaches and he cuts her off, saying he’s put her in a Triple Threat to get on Team SmackDown. Natalya can’t understand why he won’t just name her to the team. She’s the only person who can help the team win. Pearce apologizes and says the Triple Threat is next. Natalya storms off and she’s not happy. Chelsea Green appears and smiles at Pearce. Back to commercial.
— We are back and Seth Rollins wants Adam Pearce to come out. Seth says he is done with Rey Mysterio and he never wants to see his face again. This is about Murphy. I created him and that disgraceful bastard betrayed him. Seth demands the opportunity to finish him.
Natalya vs. Liv Morgan vs. Tamina vs. Chelsea Green in a Survivor Series Smackdown Women’s Team Qualifying Match
Tamina punches Chelsea and Tamina head butts Natalya while she backs Liv into the corner. Tamina with a boot to the BOAT and then Tamina with a snap mare to Liv. Liv with a kick and missile drop kick. Chelsea and Natalya pull Tamina from the ring and Irish whip her into the ringside barrier. Chelsea pulls Natalya off the apron and punches her. Liv with a drop kick to knock Chelsea off the apron. Natalya with forearms to Liv. Liv witih an Irish whip. Liv rolls through on a slingshot atomic drop. Liv with a DDT for a near fall. Liv with punches to Natalya. Natalya with punches of her own and she gets a near fall. Liv avoids a Sharpshooter.
Natalya with a sleeper. Liv gets to her feet and she snap mares Natalya and follows with a clothesline for a near fall. Natalya with a double leg take down and tries for the Sharpshooter again but Liv kicks Natalya away. Liv with a facebuster for a near fall. Tamina falls victim to the facebuster and Liv gets the three count.

Kayla is in the back with Drew McIntyre. Kayla asks Drew if it is wise to face Jey Uso with his title match on Sunday. Drew says Jey has stepped up to beat former World Champions. He came here to send a message to Roman but now he gets to send a message to Randy Orton. Drew tells Jey he has some pent up anger in him. What is more humiliating than getting your ass kicked in your own backyard?

Backstage:
Big E is in the back watching someone trying to jump rope. The Street Profits show up with three covered plates. Angelo says they made an apology as they go to flavor town. Big E wants to know why everything is shaped like an “L”. Dawkins mentions the tag title match between the New Day and Hurt Business. Big E says that The Street Profits will be no better than New Day Lite. The best tag team will be clear as day at the Survivor Series . . . THE NEW DAY.
Drew McIntyre vs. Jey Uso in an Unsanctioned Match
We go back to the ring for tonight’s Unsanctioned main event as RAW Superstar Drew McIntyre comes to the ring for a pop. Jey Uso is out next. They stare each other down as we go back to commercial.
They lock up and Drew with a clean break. They lock up and Jey with a waist lock into a side head lock. Drew with a shoulder tackle. Jey with punches and Drew with an Irish whip but Jey slides into the corner. Drew sends Jey into the turnbuckles and punches him. Drew with a chop. Drew rips off the shirt and chops Jey in the chest. Drew with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall. Drew stomps on the arm and hits a back elbow. Drew chops Jey against the ropes and he sends Jey into the turnbuckle. Jey with a jaw breaker.
Drew with an Irish whip and Jey tries to float over but Drew kicks Jey in the ribs. Jey sends Drew over the top rope and Drew with a punch as Jey sets for a suicide dive. Jey kicks the ropes as Drew tries to re-enter the ring. Jey with a super kick as we go to commercial.
We are back and Jey punches Drew. Drew with punches and chops. Jey with a Samoan drop. Jey gets a near fall. Jey kicks Drew in the head and chest. Jey sets for the running hip into the corner but Drew with an elbow and overhead belly-to-belly suplex followed by a second one. Drew with a neck breaker. Jey counters a Future Shock with a jackknife cover. Drew with a head butt and sit out spinebuster for a near fall. Jey with a super kick to Drew and Jey goes to the turnbuckles. Drew with a punch to stop Jey.
Drew goes for a superplex but Jey crotches Drew on the turnbuckle. Jey with a head butt and Drew hangs from the turnbuckles. Drew with an overhead belly-to-belly superplex while hanging in the corner. Drew sets for a Claymore and Jey sees it coming and goes to the floor.
Drew follows and sends Jey into the ringside barrier and apron. Roman’s music plays and Drew stops working over Jey. Roman and Paul make their way to the ring.
Jey sends Drew into the ring post and then sends him into a second ring post. Drew is sent face first into the ring steps. Jey gets back into the ring but Roman pulls him out. Roman tells Jey to ‘Make Him Understand’. Jey punches Drew many times but Drew with a Claymore for the three count.
Winner: Drew McIntyre
After the match, Drew and Roman have a staredown. Drew asks Roman if he understands. Roman tells Drew to get one of these as he points to his title belt, and then he says they can talk.
