Lola Vice Praises Jacy Jayne Ahead of NXT No Mercy Title Match – Lola Vice is preparing for one of the biggest opportunities of her career as she heads into NXT No Mercy in September, where she will challenge Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Championship. Vice has built solid momentum going into the event, picking up four wins in her last six WWE appearances. In contrast, Jayne has been struggling, with four losses in her last six matches across WWE and TNA.
Despite the upcoming championship clash, Vice recently spoke highly of her opponent during an interview with O’Shea Jackson Jr. and TJ Jefferson on the No Contest Wrestling Podcast. She described Jayne as someone who commands respect in the locker room and praised her work ethic.
“Jacy can be a bitch sometimes, she can, but I will say — she’s a locker room leader. She leads by example. She’s an extremely hardworking person. She never complains. She’s incredible at her job. She’s taught me a lot and I feel like Jacy also — she’s one of the best women’s strikers that we have in wrestling that has never had a striking background before. I like the way she thinks and she’s so passionate about wrestling. She inspires me, even though I want her title. I’ve learned so much from her and I’m very happy she’s in the position that she’s in.”
Vice’s comments highlight the mutual respect that can exist even in the midst of heated competition. With both women heading into No Mercy with contrasting records, the matchup will test whether Vice’s rising momentum can overcome Jayne’s experience and leadership.
