Despite the decline in overall audience, Collision showed a slight improvement in the key 18–49 demographic. Saturday’s broadcast scored a 0.07 rating, up from 0.06 the previous week. The show aired in its usual Saturday night slot at 8 p.m. but faced tough competition, going head-to-head with NFL preseason coverage on NFL Network. Collision ranked eighth on cable for the evening.
This edition of Collision was taped but still ran in its regular time slot. It was also simulcast on HBO Max, though viewership numbers for the streaming platform were not made available.
The top-performing YouTube clips from the August 23 episode, offered a clearer picture of what segments resonated most with fans online.
