It looks like the experiment of meshing 205 Live into Raw in an attempt to fill in the show and promote WWE’s Cruiserweight Showcase is over with. It’s been a while since we saw the Cruiserweights light up the stage on Monday Nights and now it looks like we’re going to see even less of them because they’re no longer a part of the actual Raw show.
When one fan asked Dave Meltzer about the Cruiserweight Division and why they haven’t been on Raw recently the Wrestling Observer Newsletter writer responded saying that they will be touring with the Red Brand as well as appearing in dark matches. But it doesn’t look like they’re going to be a part of Raw’s actual three-hour broadcast anymore.
The Cruiserweights didn’t do much to assist in promoting 205 Live and in the end, it looks like since Triple H took over 205 Live after Vince McMahon handed over the reins, blocking off time on Raw for the Cruiserweight Division is no longer a thing.
They are on Raw house show tours and do prelims on Raw night but yes, no longer on Raw itself. https://t.co/q7Z4XwmhTf— Dave Meltzer (@davemeltzerWON) May 29, 2018
